A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Owe Johansson, made in Finland. Reminds us of an abstract volcano.

Currently measures about a size 8 but due to the nature of the open shank it is adjustable.

Top measures 7/8" wide and 1 1/8" long.

Marked with the hallmark signature for Owe Johansson, 925S for sterling, and Made in Finland.

Fine condition.

A pair of Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with Tortoise Shell by William Spratling. The marks on these earrings date them to 1949-1956.

Measure 1" across. Marked on the back of one earring with the conjoined Script WS and 925.

Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition. Tortoise shell is a warm, honey brown color. Have some tarnish and minor scratches.

A wonderfully constructed heavy brooch and matching clip earrings by Bent Knudsen, Denmark. Streamlined curves, thick sterling, very Mid Century. Marked Handmade, Sterling, Denmark, Bent K, and Style #2 on the back of each piece. Brooch measures 2 3/4" long and almost 3/4" across. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver earrings by the well known Mid Century NYC jeweler, Henry Steig. Geometric sterling layered design. They are opposites so will frame the face when worn.

Warm patina. Screw backs hold securely. Measure about 7/8" long and 3/4" across. Marked Steig Sterling on the backs and Sterling on the screw parts. Well made.

The first pair has a more traditional design. They measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" wide. Marked with the script Hans Hansen signature, Denmark, 925S and style #422. The clips hold securely. Have a warm patina.

The second pair are round with raised domes surrounded by oxidized silver. They measure 5/8" across. They are marked HaH, Denmark and 925S. The screw backs hold securely. Show very minor wear. ...

A modernist 830 silver ring with a brutalist design from Sweden. Has 5 square shaped cut outs and contrasting textures across the top. The top is a raised disk that sits on 2 arms and measures 7/8" across.

Currently measures size 7, but is adjustable.

Marked with the three crowns national mark, 830 for the silver content and S for the silver standard.

Has minor tarnish. There are two tiny cut marks on the back of the shank.

Quality piece. Fine modernist design.

A modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Screw backs are also marked sterling.

Measure about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest.

Hand made, you can see very light hammering. They are in a floral design with cascading tendrils. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition, from a talented silversmith.

An interesting, heavy organic ring by the Swedish Modernist Jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Marked Isaac Cohen, ICO for the maker, Town Mark for Stockholm, National Mark, Silver Standard, and date code for 1967. Isaac Cohen was the owner of Galarie 22, a fashionable jewelry store in Stockholm. Top measures about 1 1/8" long and 1 1/8" across. Sits about 5/8" high off the shank. Ring is between an 8 - 8 1/2. A modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer. Measure 1 1/2" long and 7/8" across. Have 2 dangles that move when worn. Marked sterling on the back of the screw backs which hold securely. Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. These are not signed but are a documented Sam Kramer design. Great example of MCM jewelry.

A sterling silver modernist ring with an amber ball by Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From.

Marked From 925S. Measures about a size 7. In nice condition with some minor scratches and nicks to the edges of the back of the shank. Not very noticeable when worn. It may need a bit of cleaning but we will leave that to the new owner. Looks like it may have been resized by a previous owner. The ball sits 1/2" off the finger.

Fine MCM streamlined design.

A pair of Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with Bronze central domes by William Spratling. These earrings were in the 1945 catalog.

Measure 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back of each screw back with the conjoined WS and Spratling Made in Mexico.

Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish, dings and minor scratches.

A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco with dangling hoops.

Measure 1/2" at the widest and 2" high. One earring is marked with the Antonio crown, 970 and an Eagle mark. The second earring is marked Hecho en Mexico. Clips hold securely. These earrings have some dings to the edges, surface scratches and some tarnish.

A vintage 6" long pendant, neck ring and pair of modernist sterling silver screw back earrings with rows of stained wood beads and sterling connectors by Anna Greta Eker for Norway Designs Studio Plus.

The pendant, in lightly hammered sterling silver is 6" long from the top of the bale and 1 7/8" across. Has 5 strands of cascading wood beads with sterling connectors. Marked with ND, AGE, Plus sign, Sterling 925, and Norway. Has a little tarnish.

A modernist sterling silver ring by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, in a layered amoeba shape with a taxidermy eye. Measures about a 6 3/4 - 7. Face of ring measures 1" long and 7/8" across. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark twice and sterling. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Heavy sterling. Great MCM design. Sam Kramer's taxidermy designs are highly collectible and rare.

The top design measures 3/4" across, 3/4" wide and about 1/2" high. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustable due to the open shank design.

An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an central agate cabochon by Jens Peter Clausen Guðjónsson of Iceland. Signed JENS 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1" high and measures about 3/4" across. Has an interesting texture on the sides. Heavy sterling. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A classic copper, brass and enamel pendant, bracelet and earrings attributed to Casa Maya Mexico.

The pendant has layers of hammered copper and brass and rust and dark green enamel. It measures 1 1/4" across and is suspended from a 16" long brass chain. Closes with a secure hook clasp.

The bracelet has alternating links of hammered copper and brass with green and rust enamel. It measures 9" long and 1" wide. Closes securely with a hook clasp.

An interesting pair of Sterling Silver artist made dangle clip earrings with 18K gold detailing. There are alternating cubes of sterling and flag shaped dangles. The dangles have 18K gold on the front.

Measure 1 7/8" long and 7/8" at the widest. Clips hold securely. Marked Sterling and 18K on the back of dangles. Also signed by the artist with what looks like 'Ruth Goodman'. The back of the clips are signed sterling.
