DESCRIPTION: This child’s word learning game has spool type wood letters that slide around the two outer tracks in order to form words on the center track. An all wood board with beveled edges, this bright and cheery game has 1912 to 1916 patents. A great early educational piece for game collectors, this one is remarkable as there are neither missing letters nor breaks to the letters. Very good condition with normal usage wear. DIMENSIONS: 13.5” wide x 9.25” high.

Edwardian Art Nouveau powder jar. Made by Foster & Bailey in Providence, ca 1910. Crystal with curved sides and short inset neck. Cut geometric ornament and stylized flower band; star on underside. Cover sterling silver; top curved with enameled ornament: Pink and blue flowers on radiating white ground bordered by pink guilloche wave ornament. Cover marked. Very good condition.

A pair of blue glass vases, Pearline from Davidson’s in Gateshead, England. Pearline, an opalizing pressed glass launched by Davidson’s, was very much en vogue c 1890 – 1910. Height "4/ 10.2 cm. George V sterling silver vase. Made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd in London in 1911. Tapering and girdled tube on stepped foot. Flared and castellated rim with applied molding and ornament. Lion’s head side mounts with hinged and turned rings. Fully marked, including design no. 13163. Very good condition.

Three dishes or small plates in orange, black and gold, depicting the Austrian coat of arms as it is seen on the Maria Theresienthaler coins. Made as replacements for broken parts of the service originally ordered from China for Jozef Anthon Johan of Austria and dated 1820, just after the Arch Duke had entered his third marriage. German 800 silver cow creamer, ca 1910. Stocky body, flexed ears, flicked-back tail handle, and hinged and stippled back flap with engraved wreath and applied fly finial. A gentle face with red-glass eyes and gaping-mouth spout. A capacious dispenser on four firmly planted hoofs. German marks and American importer’s mark for Buchholz & Zelt in New York. Very good condition.

We love this Antique 15k diamond, sapphire, ruby & pearl ring, circa 1910, for its strong combination of shapes and colors as well as its dynamic symmetry. The ring sits on the diagonal, in contrast to the more common linear arrangement. Fabulous chunky 18K and diamond-studded lover's knot ring hallmarked London, 1919. Unusual knot ring with three gold diamond-shaped squares superimposed along the knot band and table-cut diamonds embedded securely within the incised stars on each square. The figural knot can be seen on the underside of the ring and is almost as beautiful as the front. The ring is a US size 8 and can be sized.

Baluster vase with Flambé glaze in red, green and black, where the lighter parts are crackeled and the black is close to mirror black. Offered is this rare and beautiful reverse-painted (hand-painted) Pairpoint Lamp, made around 1910. Overall, the lamp is 19 inches tall. The shade is 13 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches high. The base is made of copper, while the shade is made of copper-lined, glass floral-painted panels. Of the eight glass panels, six have hairlines/heat-checks - though the glass panels are stable...

Fifteen(15) English Porcelain Gold Band Tea Cups(2 1/4" high) and Saucers(5 3/4" diameter)faceted with gold leafy design in the center. Produced and retailed by "C. A. Selzer, Cleveland" in green and pink, some have impressed mark. Gold rim is somewhat used scratch marks.

Red Lacquered Papier Mache Pencil Box, beautifully painted of children at play in gold and other soft colors near the bridge, 1 1/4" high, 8 5/8" x 3 3/4" wide. This pencil box has divided interior and hinged top with small round brass button in front to operate the openings and closing when you push the brass button. The lacquer painting on top of the lid is in good condition. There are some red lacquer losses under the top and inside.
