Ceramic or porcelain, this is a shallow bowl that might have been used for serving foods, measuring at the extreme dimensions 12 3/4" by 8 3/4" by 2" deep. The central design of flowers is hand painted, as is, I think, the gold decoration. As a paintings specialist this is not within my expertise, so I hope to be describing it correctly...

Edwardian Classical brilliant-cut glass water pitcher with sterling silver collar. Made by Wilcox (part of International) in Meriden, Conn., ca 1910. Baluster with c-scroll handle; ornament in form of leaf flutes, ferns, and stars. Beaded collar with helmet mouth; engraved interlaced script monogram. Silver marked “Sterling” with maker’s stamp. Very good condition.

Porcelain beaker decorated in transfer and polychrome enamels with scenes of Louisville, Kentucky. The scenes include "Thomas Jefferson Statue & Court House", "Entrance to Cave Hill Cemetary", and "Post Office & Custom House". These glasses were made in Austria, Bohemia and Germany from the 1890's until World War I. We are also offering similar glasses featuring Boston, Cincinnati, and St. Louis. This is a set of three Victorian ivory knife rests hand carved with simple detail to represent pairs of facing elephants with trunks joined. Measurement: length of each, approx. 5 inches. Condition: very good. To be sold individually.

Measurement: length: 5 1/4 inches. Condition: age appropriate wear to some of the sharpness of the saw tooth rim- no chips or cracks.

German 800 cast silver figural bird bowl, ca 1910. Swan with plumy wings and tail, and ringed s-scroll neck with graceful head terminating in long and closed bill. Hollow with gilt-washed interior for holding treats. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (Martin Mayer). Very good condition.

This pair of crystal candle holders was produced in the early 20th century. We believe that they were made by an American glass company such as Libbey, Sinclaire or Pairpoint. There is no signature and the pattern does not lend itself to identification. They are 11 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the base is 4 1/4 inches. They are hand blown with a wide polished pontil on the base. The shape is elegant with six panels to the shaft...

A fine pair of American brilliant cut glass candlesticks signed “Libbey.” The stems and candle sockets are cut in Libbey’s “Plain Flute” pattern. The foot is decorated in an unequal radiant star pattern. The stems are spectacular! Each has not one, but four air bubbles that are twisted about each other in a spiral pattern extending the full length of the stem...

A beautiful Royal Doulton Lambeth ware vase with deep cobalt blue high luster glaze that changes to a sage green, then to a medium/light blue at the base. A floral band encircles the top with all the raised details still intact. Inside the vase has sage green glaze. In excellent condition, you will notice an imperfection at the base rim that appears to have happened in manufacture which is not uncommon. Impressed marks on base bottom...

Wonderful pottery candlestick decorated in an underglaze blue floral transfer and clobbered with overglaze iron red, yellow, and purple pigments. The effect is much like chintz china, but with stronger coloring. The bottom is marked with the registration number indicating the piece was designed in 1913 and bears the mark used by Cauldon Potteries from 1905 to 1920. It is also marked "Grip", probably referring to the very uncommon form...
