The sides and base with enameled decoration of flowers while on the lid an elegantly dressed little gentleman is seen taking a walk in the park, behind him a pink phantasy rock, a rocaille - all in typically Rococo style. The mounting made of bronze or brass, the upper part with engraved zigzag lines. Made in Bohemia around 1780. Width "2 ¾ / 7.3 cm, height "1 1/8 / 2.7 cm. Condition: fine.

French Limoges Porcelain Fluted large three(3) divided section deep Serving Dish with heavily gilded wide handle and gilded scalloped edge rim by GDA(Gerard Dufraisseix & Abbot), 4" high include handle, 12 3/4" wide across, sprigs of floral decoration inside the three(3) Shell shape deep serving bowls to help serving different kind of food or dips, supported by high foot bottom. A set of twelve Dutch delft wall tiles of a hand painted blue basket of fruit inside a square with a white square behind it at 45 degrees with the same orientation as the tile with its manganese ground. An oval and domed porcelain plaque with enamelled flowers in a gilt and Bleu Céleste framework. The ”heavenly blue” colour was a speciality for Sevres in the 18th century and revived in the 19th during the reign of Napoléon III. The gilt flower wreath is tooled, to show the texture of the little flower petals, and the large flower motif is excellently painted. English Tunbridgeware work/sewing/jewelry box in walnut veneer, decorated with two bands of chevron inlay of various exotic woods and with two hexagonal mother-of-pearl escutcheons. Circa 1880-1900. The interior is lined with paper and fabric, and there is a fitted lift-out tray. Condition: age crack to rear top of lid, several older veneer patches at corners, replaced hinges, faint scratching of a name on cover. All decorative inlay is intact. Pair of English brass Georgian telescopic ejector candlesticks, c.1800. Size: 6.75" - 9.25" height x 3.5" x 3.5". Condition: Some tiny stress cracks to the top of the lower section of one candlestick (see photos detail). Also, one stick requires extra effort to get it to remain in the fully extended position and probably required some sort of new dampening material to keep it in place.

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. Please note that the glass is slightly yellow, due in large measure tot he yellow glass rods. Our images suggest a clearer brighter glass, but that is not the case when viewed in normal light. SOLD An elaborately molded high handled sauceboat decorated with blue transfer flowers and blue transfer border on the interior top edge. There is a large amount of kiln ash in the glaze. 5 ¾ inches (14.5 cm) long, 3 ¼ inches (8 cm) tall and 2 ¾ inches (6.5 cm) wide.

Condition; Hairline crack where the handle joins the body and another short one on the left side just behind the first bump traveling back toward the handle. As mentioned earlier there is plenty of ash in the glaze...

A fine porcelain cup and deep saucer decorated with hand painted birds sitting on braches near the ground. The cup and saucer are also decorated with randomly placed puce sprigs. Unmarked, but numerous examples of similar birds with puce sprigs are on marked Ansbach pieces. Saucer 5 ¼ inches (13.4 cm) diameter. Cup 4 inches (10 cm) diameter including the handle, 3 ¼ inches (8 cm) without it. Cup 2 inches (5 cm) tall.

Condition: No chips or repairs...

18th century Central European, ceramic dish painted under the glaze with raised floral motif. On the back of the plate is deep orange color under rich glaze.

Rare pair of Staffordshire earthenware figurines of whippets. Each dog poses over a rabbit he has brought to the master of the hunt. The cushion bases are decorated with a simple gilt line.

Origin: England, circa 1850. Condition: excellent, a tiny bit of glaze roughness on the tip of one nose, blacklight examination indicates no repairs or repainting. Size: 3-7/8" tall.

Teacups – six plus one - and saucers from Staffordshire with moulded borders, made of porcelain around 1825 and possibly by H & R Daniels. The pattern is numbered 766 and consists of little blue flowers or leaves growing from meandering sprouts in green, with minimal red shoots from them. Measures: height of cups "2/ 5.7 cm, diameter "4/ 10.5 cm and of saucers"6/ 15 cm. The seventh cup with a slightly different handle and no border moulding. Condition of all pieces: fine.

Eleven(11) English Spode Copeland Porcelain Cups and Saucers, one(1) extra Saucer, Ca. 1891, 5 1/2" diameter-saucer, 2" high, 4" diameter-cup, total 23 pieces, matching set with catalog #1388686, brilliant raised gold and wide Lemon yellow border, marked "Spode Copeland's China England" in green, and impressed mark along with numbers "R 3716 2" in red on the bottom.

Offered is this beautiful pair of vases with hand-painted decor and embedded jewels. Each vase is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) tall and the vases are in excellent condition without chips, cracks or repairs (age-appropriate fading to the gilt, as expected) - amazingly, all the jewels are intact, in spite of the vases being over a hundred years old, showing how well they had been cared for. Unsigned - probably made by Moser or Fritz Heckert.
