A pair of icon fragments done on wood with extensive gold highlights. They are both from the same icon, which, I believe, depicted the Four Evangelists. The painting is of exceptional quality, as the photos will hopefully confirm. While I believe that they in fact date to the 17th century, I am conservatively dating them to the 19th or earlier. The panels measure 3-1/2" X 5-3/8" and 3-3/8" X 5-1/2", respectively. Rare and beautiful examples.

A wonderful sterling silver soup ladle in Reed & Barton’s famous 1907 “Francis I” pattern. This is one of the most desirable late Victorian American flatware designs. This ladle is from the original series and is hallmarked with Reed & Barton’s old hallmark and the design patent date.

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Vienna, Austria in 1804. Impressed numbers on the bottom of the saucer indicate this year. It has an underglaze cobalt blue bee hive marking on both pieces. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 3/4 inches high. The cup is 4 1/4 inches high, including the lid. An extremely large, beautiful, and fine English wine glass, elegant in its simplicity. The bucket bowl sits above a stem of the double series opaque twist type, which has a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze.

Conical foot with a rough pontil. Good color and tool marks, with no condition issues. The height is 7 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 3" and a foot diameter of 3 3/8". Glasses of this size are quite uncommon in this period.

This set of 8 porcelain bouillon cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Wolfsohn Dresden in the late 19th century. A pair of Qing Dynasty Chinese blue and white deep plates from the 1730-1795 era, or possibly earlier. These rare ~9" across survivors are hand painted in blue on a grey ground, and they have the brown Batavian edge glaze. This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in the 1890s. The bowl is 13 inches from handle to handle, 6 inches high and 8 inches wide. The porcelain is of the highest quality and is very substantial in weight. The footed bowl has a classic style using only gold trim on the white, reticulated porcelain for decoration. The frame on this ornate bride's basket was made by the Wilcox Silver Co. circa 1880's. A fine John/Jane Pennington Liverpool porcelain creamer of helmet form painted in blue with a bird and floral motif. The elaborate handle and the leaf-molded lower half of the body add to the appeal of this charming piece.
