An icon with a large amount of thick gilt. Background and nimbus gilded and elaborately punched, fine floral ornamental border, meticulously punched and with coloured accents, ancient Greek and Cyrillic inscriptions.

24034879 A nice small Pairpoint Rosaria compote, shape B-366. The compote has a Rosaria foot and bowl connected by a colorless stem with a bubble ball connector. Both the foot and the bowl are enhanced with a diamond quilted pattern. There is a polished pontil mark and there is no damage. The compote is 6 1/4 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall.

A pair of Steuben Cyprian twist stem candlesticks, aquamarine with celeste blue rims. The candlesticks are 10 inches tall and are shape 6331 as shown in the factory line drawings. The candlesticks are undamaged and unsigned.

24054902 A satin finish Wheeling peachblow number 13 stick vase in a lustreless finish by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. of Wheeling, WV. The vase is 8 ½ inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. There are no imperfections.

A rare pair of very early and beautiful baroque Pewter candlesticks, pricket type, probably germany or England, 17th. century.

The prickets was made in iron and the pair is stamped with clear touchmarks of the crowned Tudor rose and another with angel.

Size 31-32 cm. tall.

A lovely Late Gothic style, German christian bronze or bell-metal censor, with fine gilt and hanging in Iron-cut cruciform chains, also adorned with firegilt globular hangers, Northern Germany, c. mid 17th. century.

An incense burner that would have been hanging in a church. The Vessel is decorated with three female busts in the Gothic style from which each of the three long chains are suspended. A the top a circular plate with a cutout brass finial.

English Georgian sterling silver hot water kettle, 18th century. Globular with s-scroll spout and rattan-wrapped swing handle with scroll supports and mounts. Hinged and flush cover with stained-wood finial. Chased scrollwork, diaper, and scallop shells. Marked. Short and straight foot. Very good condition. Victorian Classical sterling silver baby cup. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1888. Straight sides and lobed bracket handle with reeded bands. Stylized ornament: Scrolled frame surrounded by scrolls, leaves, flowers, and a couple hovering insects. Butler finish. Mouth rim has egg-and-dart border. At bottom cast low-relief rinceaux band between reeded borders. Gilt-washed interior. Interlaced script monogram. Full marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, and no. 3875. Saint Dunstan sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1910. Globular with high-looping and capped handle, helmet mouth, and reeded foot ring. Girdle with pendant fleurs de lys applied to shoulder. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 14116E, director’s letter m, and volume (4 3/4 pts). Very good condition.

A large and impressive baroque pewter Chalice with lid, made in Germany dated 1724 / ANNO 1733!

With a large inscription in fine writing and here dated ANNO 1733 by the owner, but on the stamps inside the lid, the maker has dated it 1724. Maker is 'Morten Muhlhiesen Smidt' - the original note with a detailed description of the maker etc. in German comes with the sale...

Gorgeous museum-quality Japonesque sterling silver trophy bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1884. Large and round with allover ornament in relief. Pair of Edwardian Georgian sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Munsey & Co. in Cambridge in 1903. Beautiful and very early Italian Majolica Faience, Apothecary Jar, marked Bassano and dated to the year 1715!

Early dated European Apothecary jars are very rarely found and this is a great specimen in blue and white glaze and Gothic writing. The mixture held in the jar was 'Sempe De Portulaca'. Albarello shape and quite large.

Size: c. 21 cm. tall and 12 cm. wide.

Condtion: Good Very fine for the type and age! Only few minor glaze chips and a very short hairline ...

A wonderful and very rare Baccarat cut crystal perfume bottle in a simple panel cut enhanced with blue opaline “gems”. The lip of the bottle is cut in a deep petal shape. The stopper matches the décor of the bottle. Though known as “opaline” now, this type of glass was called “agate glass” when it was created at Baccarat in 1842. This pale blue color was called “bleu celeste” (“heavenly blue”). A very similar bottle has a full-page illustration in Jean-Louis Curtis’ landma...

This is a really nice depression glass green Bowknot 3 3/4 inch diameter low footed sherbet dish made by the Belmont Tumbler Company in the 1920s. This sherbet can be hard to find.
