This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1910. The saucers are 4 3/8 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. Notice the graceful shape of the handle. The decoration is high quality. Borders of raised gilded rosettes encircle each piece. The cup has exquisitely delicate gilding just inside the rim of the cup. Even the foot rings of the cups and saucers are heavily gilded...

Our keeper ring once had hallmarks but they are worn off, so we are estimating this ring to be from the late 1890's. Our ring has plaited gold work on the underside, a work of art of itself. A "Keeper" ring is a snug fitting ring worn to prevent the loss of a more valuable ring by keeping the larger ring from sliding off. Keeper rings were also known as magic, or illusion rings, because of the illusion created by rotating the band causing it to appear to widen, to narrow, then to widen again...

8 Tiffany, N. Y. mark English Mintons Dinner Plates, 1920, 10 1/4" diameter, encrusted brilliant gold Vine decoration with bright Lemon color border rim. This is a tall French cameo glass vase made by Legras. Except for the fact that the vase was drilled for a lamp-base (it was never used as a lamp), the vase is in excellent condition. It is properly signed in cameo. The vase is 16 inches (40 cm) tall and 7 inches (17,5 cm) wide at the shoulder. Fire-polished rim and polished pontil.
