A very fine English wine glass with an elongated waisted bucket bowl. The stem features an uncommon single series air twist (SSAT) comprised of a pair of multi-strand spiral cables. Conical foot with snapped pontil. Good tooling marks, color, and striations.

The impression and proportions of this glass are beautiful, with it standing tall at 6 3/4", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4" and a foot diameter of 2 1/2"...

An extremely rare triple series opaque twist (TSOT) English glass wine goblet. The capacious round funnel bowl is above a stem that has a pair of 8 ply spiral bands outside of a central solid spiral core surrounded by a spiral gauze. This configuration, with 3 distinct twists, is so uncommon that L. M. Bickerton, in his classic book, did not even address the question of triple series opaque twists.

The glass stands 7 1/4" tall, with a bowl diameter of 3 5/16" and a foot diameter of 3 3/8"...

A rare and striking large porcelain bowl made by the William Reid manufactory. The scene, handpainted in an underglaze soft grayish-blue, depicts oriental buildings and foliage. The interior has a border of alternating flower heads and dots, and the bottom has a workman's mark. Both the large size of the bowl, and the scene itself, contribute to the rarity of this piece.

The bowl is 6 5/8" on diameter, and is 2 5/8" in height...

An extremely rare and fine composite stem English Georgian marriage wine goblet with Dutch engraving.

The round funnel bowl features an oval cartouche with a pair of clasped hands, reaching out of clouds, in front of a blazing heart, all of this backed by rays of sunshine. The cartouche is surrounded by fulsomely engraved elaborate scrolls, foliage, and groups of flowers, all highlighted by superb polished details...

A German goblet from the Potsdam area, of potash glass. The overly large funnel bowl, profusely engraved with flowers and leaves, sits atop a merise which in turn sits atop a huge teared and notched baluster knop. The merise is of triangular form which might be due to cutting to symmetrize a chip.

Excellent overall condition. 7 1/8" tall, 4 3/8" diameter bowl, 5" diameter foot.

An exceptional bellarmine jug or Bartmannskrug as they are called in Europe. Made in Germany, cologne region, probably Frechen, late 16th. century AD., and exported to Holland, as it's bearing a medallion with the Coat of Arms of Amsterdam.

A fine Dutch dark green glass globular wine bottle from the second half of the 17th century, with the applied seal depicting the arms of Amsterdam. Of goodly size with a height of 8 3/8" and a diameter of approximately 5 1/2". The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. Normal expected wear. It is very uncommon to find an early bottle with the seal totally intact.

The vessel decorated with fine gothic looking lions and rossettes as spacers with manganese blue.

Size: c. 22 cm. wide incl the handle and 14,3 cm tall.

Condition: Nice Very fine for the early type, completely intact but for a closed crack with short hairlines, just below the handle to the right. Never repaired and very stable and sound.

A late Ming dynasty heavily potted porcelain dish made for export, probably to Sumatra. The decoration is in underglaze blue starting with a thin line around the outer edge, a double ring about a quarter of the way toward the center with grasses growing inward toward a large expressive carp. The style of painting with brush strokes not enclosed by lines is typical of the late Ming and the size and heaviness are typical of the export porcelain to South East Asia. German Baroque Classical silver wine beaker, 17th century. Urn bowl with three splayed ball supports. Clusters of fruits and vegetables and pendant ribbon bows. At top engraved presentation on occasion of child born in 1699. Gilt-washed interior. Marks include Nurnberg city stamp and maker’s stamp “I H / M”. Good condition with minor dents.

A rare and early English heavy baluster wine glass of beautiful proportions and stance. It has a trumpet bowl with a markedly solid base containing a tear over an angular teared knop, and a basal knop over a domed and folded foot. The height is 6 inches and there are no flaws or restorations. This is a superb early glass of dark metal and heavy weight.

The green leaves on a blue stem grow out of a yellow bulb on the ground. A rare and early baluster champagne glass featuring an everted lip cup bowl over a hollow inverted baluster knop. Finishing the stem is a basal knop over a high domed and folded foot. The height of this gem is 4 1/4 inches, and it has no condition issues whatsoever.

Although this type form was also made slightly later, the thinly blown dark metal strongly suggests a late 17th century date.
