Rare 18th century New England sampler from Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Circa 1784. Size: 10.5 inches x 8.25 inches. An early needlework sampler made by Rhoda Symonds at age 16. Rhoda Symonds was born in Essex, Massachusetts in 1768 and moved with her family to Hillsborough, New Hampshire in either 1772 or 1773. The sampler indicates that she was aged 16 when she created it, suggesting a date in 1784...

This lovely set consists of six 5-1/8" pastry forks, the 5-3/4" two-tine pastry server and the fitted velvet and silk lined fitted box. Very well crafted Continental .800 silver chariot, cupid riding the vehicle and pulled by a goat, late 19th century period, gold washed interior, hallmarked. Size; Measurements of this item are 9.5"l x 4.75"h x 3"w. Condition Report; Condition consistent with age, no issues noted.

Needlework sampler, 22 1/2" by 17" (26" by 20" framed), the design incorporating the alphabet, floral motifs, a heart, four paired figures and a house. Condition is excellent, the colors not faded. This would date to circa 1970's; a so-called "Paragon" kit available at the time. Nice decorative piece for the Americana or folk art setting.

A faience dinner with a shaped edge decorated with flowers, insects and a manganese rim. Painted on the back, “No: 4.” The mark and the decoration are typical of Strasburg circa 1740. The plate has no foot and pontil marks from firing. It is 9 ½ inches (24 cm) diameter.

Condition; Generally good with light wear. Small chips on the rim.

Inspired by Viking longboat with dragonhead stempost and tail sternpost, and rim comprising warrior’s shields. Stylized plant and geometric ornament. Well has radiating green guilloche enamel. This is a handsome English silverplate on copper oval gallery serving tray having rope banded rim and base with pierced sides and handles, maker unknown but marked Silver On Copper, measures 18 in L x 12 in. w; good condition, wear to silver and copper visible in places on the interior of the tray, surface scratches.

These porcelain soup cups and saucers were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1888 and 1896. They were produced especially for the high end retailer Davis, Collamore & Co. of New York. The saucers have a diameter of 5 ½ inches. The cups are 2 ¼ inches high, the opening diameter is 3 2/4 inches and they are 5 ½ inches from handle to handle. The cups have a scalloped pedestal base, are quatrefoil in shape and have molded texture to the porcelain...

Offered is this beautiful amethyst-colored heavy tulip-shaped glass vase, made most likely by Boston & Sandwich (the first picture was taken in natural light while the others were taken with artificial light). The vase is 7 1/2 inches tall and 7 3/4 inches wide at the top. As are common with these old glass vases, there is a chip on the rim (see last picture) and a couple of small base chips...

Antique 19th century, a fine example of a French hand-blown and cut amethyst glass vase, attributed to the prestigious Baccarat manufacture.
