Three plates with orange ground lip, transfer border on the edge of the well and the center hand painted with different complex bouquets of wild flowers. All have the Royal Worcester mark on the bottom with the date of 1877 below. Also, the number 9522/A (?) is written in overglaze enamel. The plates are 9 inches (23 cm) diameter.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some gilding wear on the edges and minor scratches.

A hand painted Ashworth Imari ironstone dinner plate from 1899. This wonderfully decorative Victorian 10-1/2" dinner plate is in the Imari palette with a cobalt and gold border and a central floral panel with Oriental cameos around the edge. We haven't found a name for this pattern however B2050 is the same except with a black ground...

Two rattan handled and lidded water jugs in late Jugendstil, two of a kind. One designed by Richard Riemerschmied for the company of F & R Fischer c 1915, the other and smaller by Webster & Son, New York c 1920. The German jug hammered (pressed) and nickeled brass, the American jug silvered copper. Riemerschmid was co-founder of the Deutscher Werkbund, the ideas of which were close to the Wiener Werkstätte...

Very rare pair of sterling silver salad servers in the 1888 "Rococo" pattern by Dominick & Haff. This is one of the company's most desirable patterns. The pieces are quite simply, enormous! The handles are beautifully decorated with an ornate floral pattern that is repeated at the top of the bowl and tines. The backs of the handles are simply decorated with a vine motif along the edges. The bowl and tines retain their original gilding...

Victorian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1877. Globular bowl with drum-form neck, small lip spout, and c-scroll handle. Bowl has vertical ornament in form of applied acanthus leaves alternating with embossed gadroons. Neck has applied harps in wreaths between leafing scrolls. Handle has applied rosette and leafing stem. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 4706 (first produced in 1877), and director’s letter M (1873-91)...

Banded mochaware bowl in blue and brown. Very nicely formed, with a crisply shaped foot rim. The rim has one 1" hairline, and there is some discoloration to the interior (note that the discoloration visible near the rim is actually very thick bluish glaze, and not staining), but otherwise the bowl is in very good condition. 6-3/8" diam; 3-1/8" high.

A WWI sterling silver drafting pencil from 1918. This World War I vintage 3-3/8" x 1/2" sterling pencil has a red-painted flat drafting pencil included. The case is fully hallmarked for Sheffield England 1918, it weighs 9.0 grams and it is engraved A. OSBORNE. CANADIAN ENG 21st MAR 1916 22nd OCT. 1918. It was made by S. Mordan & Co. and the pencil is marked HB *ROYAL SOVEREIGN E WOLFF & SON BRITISH MAKE...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1912. There are date ciphers that indicate this date. The set is made of high quality bone china. It is decorated in a Japanese Imari pattern. The decoration is hand painted and ornately gilded. The decoration on the cup and saucer is bold and vivid. There is some slight wear in the well of the saucer. This cup and saucer is in otherwise excellent condition.

This is an ANTIQUE STERLING DRESDEN BERRY SPOON or SERVING SPOON by WHITING, Division of GORHAM. This late Victorian Spoon has a Beautiful FLORAL DESIGN on the Handle both front and back. The Bowl has an "Embossed" beaded design. Length is 7 1/2"; bowl measures 2 5/8" X 3". Date this Serving Spoon 1896 and clearly marked 1896(see jpgs). French Art Deco 950 silver box, ca 1920. Round and flat. Concentric engine turned ornament with engraved flowers on top center and patera on bottom center. Gilt interior. Sweet and pretty. Marked. Very good condition with some handling wear.

A two-handled solid silver bowl made around 1890. Unmarked, but its shape and the pierced pattern with crescents and six-pointed stars indicates a Russian and Jewish origin. Tested for a silver content of 800 / 1000 (minimum). Weight 157 grams, width "4 ½ / 11 cm and height "2 ½ / 6 ½ cm. Condition: fine.

The symbolism and motifs behind the Victorian bangle bracelets, with their quaint floral bouquets and plants and trails of leaves well known. Our Sterling silver bangle has two carved stylized vases of flowers on either side, a vertical array of flowers next to each and at center, what appears to be two vertical daisies and leaf tendrils. This bracelets are quintessentially Victorian; sentimental jewelry always had associated meanings behind different flowers...

A very well-cut low bowl in an unidentified pattern. The cutting is deep, sharp and precise. The pattern comprises three panels of star- and diamond-cut cane, divided by elongated loops enclosing flashed fans and strawberry diamond, alternating with hobstars. The blank is heavy and very clear.

Origin: America, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, a 1/32" fleabite on the inside edge of one tooth. Size: 7-1/4" diameter; 2" high.

Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver epergne. Made by James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield in 1905. Large round and shallow basket set in round mount with shell-and-scroll apron surmounting fluted and knopped baluster on raised and bellied base. Two scrolling and whiplash arms, each supporting ring inset with smaller same basket. Four scrolling stretchers mounted to central pendant knops and same supports on quatrefoil feet. Pierced loose and fluid leaves and scrollwork. Gadrooned rims...

A beautiful green-to-clear glass vase, made by either Moser or Harrach. The vase is decorated with beautiful art nouveau floral motif. Polished pontil. Except for roughness toward the vase's bottom (see second-last picture), it is in very good condition. A similar-colored vase is shown in Truitt's book on Bohemian glass (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

A blue and white transfer printed plate with the Boy on a Buffalo pattern - one of the first Chinese patterns to be "translated" by the English potteries and first used by Spode c 1795, soon also by other potters. The specific border used for this pattern adapts itself well to the lobed shape of the rim. Around 1800, unmarked, possibly Spode. Diameter "8¾/ 22 cm. Condition: fine.

English, most likely Bilston, eighteenth century. The elongated oval shape, all over floral decoration, and the unusual brown painted panels are not infrequent characteristics of Bilston’s “gingham finish” enamel boxes, hence the Bilston attribution.

Fine cracks to enamel, and small losses on both sides and back.
