A Porcelain Armorial Plate made by Edme Samson et Cie, Paris, featuring the Jackson Family Crest. It is marked "Jsckson" on the back and "Ovington Brothers, New York" (old Fifth Avenue Retailer). Dimensions; 9" in diameter x 1" high. Circa 1890 and in excellent condition.

This set of 12 plates was produced in France in the mid 19th century. They are marked with the underglaze Sevres markings but were probably made by a Paris decorator. Each plate is artist signed. They are 9 3/8 inches in diameter. They are made of soft paste porcelain. The set is elaborately hand painted. The center of each place has a different Watteau scene. The style of painting is romantic, soft and dreamy. The borders have etched cartouches and gilding...

Outstanding majolica pitcher in the form of an owl. Modeled by the George Morley Co., this pattern is an icon of American majolica production. The colors are very nice, including the medium-pink interior. Unsigned.

Straight and paneled sides with low-relief frieze depicting galloping riders, racing through the countryside, trees and buildings in the background; branch borders. A beautiful decanter set composed of 3 barrel shaped decanters, each heavily cut and retaining the original target stoppers. The stand is electroplate silver and of elegantly molded trefoil form, with rings to hold the stoppers.

Both the stand and decanters are in excellent condition, the glass without chips, etc., and the stand with little to no bleeding. The height is 10" and the width is 9".

French white opaline vase, late 19th c. Elegant baluster shape and decoration of an “Etruscan” lady in red, gray and gilt. Height "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Antique English Staffordshire blue and white transferware plate by Rogers with a very dramatic scene. On the back it is named "The Drama". In very good condition commensurate with age. There is a small chip to the underside of the plate rim that is not seen from the front. Measures just under 8.75" diameter.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England between 1800 and 1815. It has no mark from the manufacturer but it may have been made by Minton or Coalport. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The shape of the cup is known as a bute shape. The porcelain has a slightly grayish tinge to it. It is not pure white like the bone china produced in later years in England...

This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Manufactory between 1830 and 1840. They have a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. The plates have a reticulated rim with molded flowers and decoration in the porcelain. Each plate is hand painted with a Watteau scene depicting lovers in landscape settings. The painting is very fine, with minute detail and vivid colors. The quality of the workmanship is similar to that of Meissen...

A sterling silver soup ladle by the noted New York silversmith, John Polhamus, in the King's pattern (double struck). Circa 1860s. Length: 12.5 in. Engraved H.S. in a Gothic script on handle. Struck with J. Polhamus mark and 'sterling'. Nice original condition.

A George II Sterling Silver tankard, Hallmarked for London, 1759 with the makers mark of John Payne. It weights 23.7 Troy ounces and is 7.5/8" high. It is of Baluster shape on a circular foot. There is a period armorial engraved on the front (signed) with period initials on handle. Excellent condition.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1800. It has the first quality under glaze crossed swords mark. The style of the cup is from the early Biedermeire Period, 1815 -1848. The saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 inches tall (without the handle) and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. A hard paste porcelain shallow bowl commonly used for salad with a dentil gilt rim and hand painted with bouquets and sprays of flowers. The simplicity of the painting is not an indication of poor work, there was at times a fashion for simple looking things; think of Marie Antoinette at her dairy at Versailles. This bowl is from the same period. 8 1/4 inch (21 cm) diameter.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Slight wear to the gilding.

Great example of a Durand champagne glass with ruby red cup and foot joined by an ambergris stem. The cup, stem and foot are nicely ribbed and measure 6 inches tall. The cup is 4 3/8 inches in diameter and the foot is 3 1/16 inches in diameter. The foot has a rolled rim and has a small polished pontil mark. This example is pristine.

This is a beautiful, French cameo glass vase, made by DeVez, a contemporary of Daum Freres of Nancy, France. The banjo vase is 6 1/4 inches (16 cm) tall. The vase is in excellent condition (there is a fabrication flaw on the top rim of the vase, typical of hand-made items - see last picture). Polished pontil.
