This is an striking and well executed Austro-Hungarian antique silver and niello box, manufactured in Prague in 1820s.It is rectangular in shape and lid is engraved with scene of a farmer pushing a wheelbarrow down a town lane within foliate and leaf tip borders. This porcelain coffee can shaped cup and saucer were produced in England by Spode in 1812. The design, number 709, is referred to as one of Spode’s “Candlelight” patterns. The Spode museum in Stoke on Trent has a tea set of this pattern on display. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The ground color is cobalt blue. There are cartouches with brightly hand painted flowers...

KPM (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur) Meissen porcelain cup and saucer in a dusty rose pink with gold trimming and designs of grapes and grape leaves. KPM is the highest grade of hard paste Meissen. The maker's mark is fired in underglaze blue underneath both the cup and saucer. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 3 inches in hight.

Offered is this beautiful, peachblow glass vase, made around the turn of the 20th century, probably by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England. The vase is 8 1/2 inches (21, 5 cm) tall and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide. The melon-twist vase has beautiful coloration and is in excellent condition. The enameling is highly suggestive of having been done by the studio of Jules Barbe. Unsigned.

A beautiful, green-cut-to-clear vase, made by either Moser or Thomas Webb. The vase is decorated with beautiful art nouveau decor. Except for some minute nicks toward the bottom (see second-last picture), the vase is in excellent condition. There is a catalog/exhibition number on the vase's bottom, which means that the vase used to be a museum display piece. The vase is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall and 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide at the top. Polished pontil.

Offered is this exquisitely beautifully hand-painted, French opaline glass perfume bottle. The perfume is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall. Except for a couple of minute flakes on the bottom of the lid that are typical of these old perfume bottle lids (see last picture - the flakes are concealed when the lid is in place), the bottle is in very good condition. The lid-bottom and the bottle's pontil-bottom have numbers (the bottle's number is too faded to decipher what it is - see pictures)...

A fine example of an antique air twist glass. The pointed round funnel bowl is engraved with a fruiting vine, and raised on a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem above a conical foot with a rough pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches, or restoration. Good color, striations, and tooling marks. The height is 6 1/8" with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 5/8".

DESCRIPTION: An engaging carved wood santo figure of a winged cherub, most likely carved in the Philippines. This figure, dating from the early 1900’s, is depicted with black hair, inset glass eyes and extended wings. CONDITION: Some age appropriate losses to original paint. Fabulous 19th century sterling silver christening cup by Whiting Manufacturing Company--one of the America's most sophisticated silver companies. The entire surface is covered with repousse decoration of roses, lilies, and philodendron leaves. A reserve, just opposite the handle, is engraved "Lily". Cups such as these were used as presentation gifts for babies when they were christened. Most often, they were given by the godparents...

This 11 piece dessert plate set was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1876 and 1886. They have double markings indicating this period. The set consists of one serving plate and 10 smaller plates. The large plate is 10 inches across the handles and the small dishes are 7 1/4 inches in diameter. The serving plate has pierced handles. Each piece has an apricot colored band around the rim. The decoration is a Japanese inspired transfer print that is hand colored...

A beautiful Royal Doulton Lambeth ware vase with deep cobalt blue high luster glaze that changes to a sage green, then to a medium/light blue at the base. A floral band encircles the top with all the raised details still intact. Inside the vase has sage green glaze. In excellent condition, you will notice an imperfection at the base rim that appears to have happened in manufacture which is not uncommon. Impressed marks on base bottom...

Most likely French, 19th century. A nineteenth-imitation of the extremely popular souvenir boxes made in Bilston at the end of the eighteenth century (see 5218-18). However, it clearly dates to the late nineteenth century. The lug and ribbed banding on the metal hinge, and the inferior quality of the painting identify this box as a nineteenth-century creation...

A fine example of a double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass. The lower half of the bowl is spiral molded, with the stem containing a pair of corkscrews outside on a single central corkscrew.

The condition of the glass is excellent, with no chips, cracks, hazing, or restoration. Wonderful color and tooling marks. Rough snapped pontil. The height is a goodly 7 1/4", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8".

A finely crafted bust of woman with delicate, feminine features, executed in white Italian marble, resting upon plinth. Condition is good though some accumulated soiling, a broken corner of rear of plinth, and slight superficial break in surface around the neck. Probably early 20th C. Dimension: 7 1/2" h

An early 19th c silk damask vestment with a floral and crown motif. The orphrey portion dates from the 17th century. Actually in quite good condition, with some scattered wear. 46" in length.
