Box in black lacquered wood inlaid with mother-of-pearl, golden details. The decor is composed of birds among plants and shrubs. The birds are very active, the one in the center tends to what appears to be a stylized egg in a nest? Probably a meaning. The designs are simple but harmonious and very elegant. The inlay work is empirical but the materials used are solide and they have stood the test of time well indeed the lacquer has not peeled off and the mother-of-pearl is still well maintained...

An antique Japanese temple plaque made from one large solid block of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Hand carved on both sides. One side depicts ocean waves which represents polar opposite ideas of peaceful tranquility and powerful ferocity. The opposite side features Sunflowers representing warmth and longevity and Chrysanthemums symbolizing immortality.

Rare antique early 18th century exceptional large Polish flintlock saddle holster pistol.
It features a very long two-stage barrel with a tapered iron barrel.
The flattened rib of the barrel is bordered by cut, narrow grooves and is hand-signed at the top with the word "DANTZIG." The breech section of the pistol is finely hand-chiseled in low relief with a portrait bust on the plinth surrounded by laurel leaf branches and scrolls.
