Patented 1878 and marked with a C placing it between 1902-1907, this Tiffany & Co. server is made in the intricate "Olympian" pattern. The scene on the handle is "Venus Born of the Sea." It has a large shell shaped, gilded bowl. This one is not monogrammed but is in very good condition. It measures approximately 9.5" long and 3.25" across the widest portion of the bowl. The vase is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) long, 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) high and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide. In good condition (expected, age-appropriate wear to gold and a small rim flea-bite - see last picture). Very nice Imperial Russian clear pressed glass tea box. The design features fans, strawberry diamonds and Russian cane motifs. The box is bound with silverplated mountings and a lock. This interesting little ceramic figure is purportedly from the Majapahit period (1293-1500)of Eastern Java. Possibly a religious figure, it is barefoot and has tribal head-dress and flowing robes.
