This set of 10 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer, or KPM, in 1905. The date marking indicates this year. The plates are

A wonderful and uncommon Worcester Scratch Cross period high-footed silver form sauce boat of desirable small size. This charming piece has a scroll handle with an upturned thumb rest, the body molded with scroll panels painted with "strutting birds" near a triangular fence and flowering rocks.
The length, including the handle, is 6 1/2 ", the width is 3 1/4", and the height is 2 1/2". Superb condition with vibrant colors and no flaws.

A scarce and very impressive large white bronze / bell metal Cauldron, Northern Europe, Sweden or Denmark, c. mid 18th. century.
The exceptional cauldron were part of luxery interior of a kitchen of an important mansion / manor in the 18th. century and is with initials from the family. This doll lets you know she is strong and capable and isn't afraid of work. I love that she has big hands formed as a fist with fingers and thumb. Her shoes are also big and sturdy also. The carving is bold and yet touching. She is a great example of the 1920-30's woman farmsteading, likely in Appalachian Mountains.
