This antique Chinese wooden carved pedestal stand with attached mirror dates is from the late Qing dynasty. This piece of furniture would have sat on a dresser or chest. The carving is high quality and begins at the base. The mid section carving displays a dragon and pagoda. The frame of the circular mirror has bats carved all around.
This piece has been held in storage by a Texas collector and is in excellent condition...

Chinese elm wood square low table in a natural finish with two deep drawers each on two alternating sides. Brass hardware appears to be original. Late 19th century. 19 5/8"H x 31 3/4" square. There is an old narrow moon shaped burn on the top (see enlargement 3) and there are a few small separations in the wood on the top from shrinkage. This piece is from a Tucson collection and was purchased by expatriates to Taiwan in the 1980's.

Set of fittings in cast and hammered bronze, suitable for 2 Chinese cabinets with one door or for a large cabinet with double doors. All the elements are decorated with chisel-engraved dragons. A padlock is part of the lot. Hand-threaded rods and nuts allow the installation of fittings on the furniture. Set of 8 panels carved in a beautiful hardwood probably rosewood. They are very finely openworked with stylized dragons moving in scrolls. In the center a bone inlay. The cutouts as well as the details are very skilfully executed. Probably pieces of furniture.

An antique Chinese day bed made of Jumu (Elm) and woven rattan. Beautiful inset Marble behind auspicious carved symbols with a round medallion at the front end of the neck rest. The underside of the bed has a woven jute webbing used to support the rattan bed above. Two opposing drawers with bronze chrysanthemum backed pulls highlight the decorative wood carving front and center.
