It is carved on both sides as two double gourds (葫蘆) resting against each other. A twisted RuYi (如意) scepter with LingZhi (靈芝) ends and a branch of flower blossom are leaning over them. A Chinese court necklace (Chaozhu). The necklace is composed of one hundred and eight red agate beads spaced with three lapis lazuli beads. The lower part is decorated with a lapis lazuli and jadeite combination bead (fotouta), a flat oblong crystal plaque suspending a golden hair crystal drop, and three strings of lapis lazuli beads suspending similar enameled-metal mounted golden hair crystal drops. Late Qing Dynasty. The necklace is in excellent condition.

During the Qing Dynasty, the feathers of the kingfisher bird were used to create ornaments for woman to attach to clothing and/or wear in their hair...
Through the 1800's These ornaments were made and formed with heavy paper (light weight cardboard...)
They had large areas of feathers and the edges of the paper form were bordered with gold paint...and the ornaments were often domed
By the early 1900's the bird were becoming rare almost extinct ...so intricate and smaller sections of fea...
This late 19th century carved white jade (nephrite) ornament can be used as pendant. It is 2 ¼ inches long, 1 ¼ inches wide and 3 /4 inch thick. One side is carved as a double gourd and a small heart-shaped leaf, the other side is a carving of two legendary animals facing each other. It is in excellent shape.

This is of rectangular form and lock-shape, Ruyi patern open works around
its edges, a lock bar in the upper center with four Chinese auspicious characters
and on the other side, a big peach tree with peachs and a stylized book in landscape
delicately carved. It’s in very fine condition without any damages.
It measures 7cm x 4cm x 0.5cm

This unusually long necklace is composed of graduated undyed pink coral beads of slightly compressed spherical form, ranging in tone from light pink to a deeper salmon color. The clasp is an egg-shaped reticulated bronze with a wedge-shaped catch that have both been gilded. Good condition overall with a soft wear and polish to the beads.

It is very fine white nephrite pendant carved with a horse or mythical animal (?),
there is no any mottled color in this white jade, an well carved with incised details
the head, mouth and tail. It’s in very fine condition without any damages.
It measures 4.3cm w. x 2.3cm d. x 3cm h.
This late 19th century sterling silver and jade bracelet is 7 inches long and half of an inch wide. There are five pieces of jade (jadeite) mounted in silver fittings and two Chinese characters in outline form at the end of the bracelet. On the back is stamped “sterling” and “China”. It is in great condition.
