Rare Ming dynasty Chenghua period blue and white tea cup, base with 4 character Xuande Nian Zhou (Made in Xuande) mark, decorated with lotus flower motif, good condition no damage, size: 7 cm diameter.

A rare pair of underglaze blue and white decorated porcelain jars. Jingdezhen ware from the Transitional period between the Xuande and the Chenghua period ( 1436 - 1465 ) Decorated in the for that period typical so called " Windswept Style ". It is very rare to find one Ming jar that still has it´s original lid. To find a pair of Ming jars that still do have their original lids ( and in a condition like this ) is a definitely very rare event. H. with lid : 12,8 cm. ( Without lid : 9,3 cm...

A very impressing, large plate. The quality of the drawing on this well potted porcelain plate is really excellent. Please have a look at the enlargements to recognize the quality of the drawing which is rich in details and painted in an very nice, deep Cobalt blue. Underglaze blue Kangxi Mark to the back of the plate, but most probably 19th. century ( "Kangxi revival" ) Diameter 40,4 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A Song dynasty longquan celadon large alms bowl, decorate with caerved lotus petal motif at exterior, good condition with large part of the rim has been broken and restored, still a beautiful piece for display and collection, size: 16 cm diameter, 11 cm height.

A fine northern Song dynasty Ding ware white glaze lobbed flower shape dish, decorated with molded flower motif at the center, base unglazed, dish in good condition no damage, size: 13.5 cm diameter.

A fine northern Song Ding ware white glaze big jar, rounded side with globular body and unglazed base. Jar is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration. Size: 14 cm diameter, 9 cm height.

The dishes are small, absolutely lovely and quite unique with their simple decoration of a flying crane and the other dish with a butterfly decoration. This pair of dishes fascinates by its simplicity. Ming Dynasty, Wanli period ( 1573 - 1620 ) Porcelain dishes with a Cobalt blue decoration, most probably Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 8,7 cm. Condition : Perfect with a nice glaze and a nice "ping-tone" when tapped. No cracks, no chips - this what looks like small rim chips is covered with glaze.

Rare Song dynasty white glaze jar with 2 lugs, decorate with molded flower scroll motif, covered with white glaze, good condition no damage size: 9 cm diameter 8 cm height.

Rare Song dynasty longquan celadon ribbed big jar, ribbed body covered with good green celadon glaze, good condition no damage, size: 10 cm diameter, 8 cm height.

A small thinly potted wine or tea cup delicately painted in shades of underglaze blue with traditional Chinese landscape scenes. The cup is bound with a metal (copper) rim, apparently made to cover a burst glaze bubble. On the base is a four character shop mark which reads "Shun Li Kun Ji". The makers mark was in use during the late Qing / early Republic period so we assume that this item was made during the late 19th or early 20th Century. Condition - very good - no damages and no restoration...

Description:

A Yaozhou lotus-bud bowl was in fine look.
It was well decorated on the surface with carved floral motifs.
The surface was spread with minute incursions which were caused by time.
Looking inside, the body clay was revealed with brownish tint which was an obvious characteristic of oxidation from time.

It is very rare to find a Yaozhou ware in Lotus-Bud form...

A large and heavy porcelain vase with thick Sang-de-boeuf ('Ox-blood') glaze. On the base is incised the six character reign mark of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). We have been unable to decide whether this item was made during his reign (in the late Qing dynasty) or later during the Republic period (1912-1949. Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration...

A good early Qing dynasty 18th century Kangxi blue base white flower motif, base with leave mark, good condition no damage, size: 28 cm diameter.

The Famille Rose decoration on this large tray is absolutely breathtaking. Please regard the enlargements to recognize the superb quality of this most impressing piece which almost reaches the quality of the best examples of the Yongzheng period. Daoguang period ( 1821 - 1850 ) Diameter maximal : 37,4 cm. Condition : Very nice condition, partially there is an old minute fritting to the rim.

Chinese famille verte lidded jar with birds and flowers decoration and an attached brass stand. Early 20th century. Condition: Normal wear; the base may be drilled for mounting the stand - I did not remove the stand to examine it. No other visual flaws. Height with lid and stand: 14-1/4".
