Antique Tibetan pair of offering bowls. Each bowl is carved of burl wood and has an ornate silver foot decorated with cabochons of coral and turquoise. The silver bottom of each bowl is incised with a scene of mother and baby fu lions. The bowls have interiors that have been lined and edged with silver.

Antique Tibetan horse saddle. Made of wood and decorated with red lacquer flowers and scrolling vines on a black lacquer ground. Horse riding on in Tibet is especially popular on the plateau of Western Tibet where the Kampa horsemen have held traditional horse races and festivals for generations. This saddle comes with a custom metal stand.

Unusual 19th century Indian votive bronze bell with handle in a shape of monkey God Hanuman with his hands in front of him in praying attitude, his tail forming a halo around his head. The patachitra, the folk painting of Orissa, has a history of great antiquity. The 'Patachitra' paintings exhibit the use of strong line and brilliant colors. These are religious paintings which cover themes and events from Indian mythology and Puranas and are mainly made on silk or on old cotton glued with paper.

Antique Himalayan tall yak butter lamp. Made of hand hammered copper with gilt bronze applied details depicting Buddhist auspicious symbols. The butter would have melted and burned for a measured amount of time depending on the size and the amount in the lamp. Antique Himalayan small silver Buddha Sakyamuni seated in vajrasana position on a lotus throne. His feet are folded in his lap in vajraparyankasana and his right hand reaches down in bhumispara mudra. His expression is compassionate with downcast eyes and a slight smile. The bottom of the base is covered in copper.

Antique 19th century South India, Tamil Nadu finely cast, copper alloy figure of dancing Hindu deity Krishna on a lotus plinth. Depicting the Lord Krishna dancing victoriously on Kaliya Naga and holding a ball of butter in his right hand, his rounded body adorned by belts with hanging bells and other jewelry, his face with almond-shaped eyes and a raised urna centered between his arched brows, his hair arranged in neat rows and surmounted by a round lotus bud finial.

Antique Tibetan Buddhist small reliquary in stupa form. Made of glass and covered with gold leaf, this votive offering would have once been housed in a larger container and placed at the foot of an architectural stupa acting as either a funeral mound or housing relics of an important person. The shape, with it's rounded body and terraced lid, imitate the larger stupa, a three dimensional mandala and symbol of Buddha.

Antique, 18th - 19th century, Sino-Tibetan arched Pommel of horse saddle, hand crafted of wood, covered on the front by thick sheet of brass beautifully embossed on the center with an auspicious symbol, and scrollwork patterns on the sides, gullet adorned with cast brass arch chiseled in radiating pattern. The other side of the arch pommel is reinforced by a hand forged strap of iron.

This old drum from Nepal was used for festival and carried in parades. The man would use the left hand to hold the drum by the handmade ropes across the back of the drum. He would use the right hand to strike the drum skin. The chains and metal bits hanging from the bottom would add an extra "jangle" sound while drum moving. Clearly made as folk art instrument, the drum is somewhat out of round and about 18" at the widest diameter.
