Lost wax cast bronze pipe. Decoration in high relief of clouds or swirls of smoke and lotus petals. The object is massive, thick and heavy. We think it is a Khmer bronze, probably a cult object, but it may be something else altogether. What is certain is that the object is very old and that it is not a copy of the 20th century. Antique Cambodian, Khmer, bronze figure of Hindu deity Vishnu standing on a square plinth in samabhanga, each of his four arms holding an attributes, mace, lotus, chakra and conch, wearing a cylindrical mitre headdress, dressed in short pleated sampot with fishtail pleats at front and back and secured with an elaborate beaded belt, the face with wide smiling features flanked by long earrings.

A finely matched set of 7 bronze Hamsa bird opium weights, all from the same undertype of Shan hamsas, issued from ca. 1770 AD.

The set includes some nice weights from the massive 20 tical weight all the way down to the scarce 1/4 Tical weight.

An attractive late medieval bronze opium weight in the old classical style featuring the elongated octagonal base. Depicting a ‘Toe’ or lionbeast, Burma c. 1550 AD
