Chinese export porcelain serving bowl featuring a traditional Canton scene on the lid with a pine cone finial. The matching scene is also featured inside the bottom of the bowl. This is a pair of Qing dynasty blue and white flowers motive jar. There are crab apple tree, chrysanthemum and peony plants painted on the jar. On the shoulder of the jar, a band with four sections are painted with lotus flower. The vase is luted together horizontally in two parts as shown in picture no 5. The circa. of this jar is 18th century.

A Chinese porcelain, scalloped edge, leaf shaped dish that was part of Canton pattern dinner set, exported from China to America, during the late 19th Century. The Canton pattern can be easily recognized as it shows a bridge with no man, and has a cloud border. The dish measures about 8" long x 6" wide, and 1 1/4" tall. Broken shards of these crab plates have been found on the Island in Cebu in the Philippines, and are determined to be of the Zhangzhou type (formerly called Swatow wares). This lovely crab dish is from the Spanish porcelain trade that was exported from China to South East Asia. I am not absolutely certain of its exact age, but can guarantee that it is at least 150 years old. Measuring 6.75" in diameter, it is in perfect antique condition, no chips, hairlines or repair.
