Rare English Bilston type figural bonbonniere in the form of a seal's head, fashioned in painted enamels over copper. Circa 1760-1790. The cover is brass mounted and hand painted with two running hounds. The box is unmarked but was probably made at Bilston. Condition: some hairlines and with minor chipping and lines to the hinged cover; tiny blemish on animal's chin. Size: 1.5" length x 1.25" diameter. True period examples like this are scarce to the market.
A Northern Plains native American pipe with a carved Catlinite bowl and original twisted reed stem. Circa 1870-80. Overall length: 30". This is a small and beautiful Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) Junyao vase. It stands on a short foot rim with a recessed base. It is beautifully glaze of dark greyish lavender blue and of nice ageing gloss. It is more beautiful than the actual picture. The thick glazing flow just stop short before the foot rim.

A SanCai(triple colored) water pot from Tang Dynasty was excavated in a decent look.
In a round shape, the ware was applied with characteristic triple colors(usually as brown, yellow and green) on the upper half of the surface, and left on the lower portion of the basin unglazed.
The unglazed portion was revealed with the body clay which was in characteristically refined clay .
The beautiful glaze was preserved well but suffused with minute crackles.
