An Ancient wooden casket for Buddhist ritual implements lacquered black and decorated with lotus flowers in silver and gold on scrolling vines with an inscription beneath stating it was donated in the New Year of Kenmu 2 (1334). The lacquer, originally black, has oxidized to a mellow chocolate color. It is 33.5 x 18.5 x 13 cm (13 x 7-1/2 x 5 inches). A finely cast bronze priest's bell with a nice patina and sound, dating to the Late Central Javanese Period. The body resembling a stupa with floral ornaments and garlands. An extremely rare 'Ge' type glazed bowl, a good rounded form balance potted with everted lip rim, decorated with double crackle irregular iron-black and rust-brown crackle, known in Chinese as 'Jinsi Tiexian' (gold thread and iron wire) stopping neatly above the brown-wash foot base. They also note the other only one recorded example in that times of this Double-Headed type appears to be illustrated by William Willets, 'Ceramic Art of Southeast Asia, 1971, no.85. which is subsequently illustrated, Strait Times Annual, 1981, pp, 57-58, and Southeast Asian Ceramic Society, Vietnamese Ceramics, 1982, no.103.

Description:

An ancient bronze seal was inscribed with characters on the stamping surface.
The characters was from ancient people but is unknown to us now.
From the metal quality, the old patina on the surface and the characteristic of the knob on top, and also the type of the word, we can define it as from Yuan periods or earlier.

IT WAS AN INTERESTING PIECE THAT CAN STILL BE USED NOW AS A PRIVATE SEAL WITH PERSONAL TASTE .

This is a Song dynasty (960 – 1276 A.D.) white glaze stem cup. It rest on a flared foot rising inwards to a short neck and then towards a everted u-shaped cup. It has a simple abstract cloud like wave motive between two bands of lines. On the underside, the white glaze flow stopped short at about half way down the stem exposing the light buff colour stoneware. A nice piece.

There is no repair or restoration. No chip or crack...

This covered stoneware box was made during the 13th - 15th centuries at the Sawankhalok kilns. This extremely rare (unique?) porcelain wine cup was made during the 12th - 14th Century (Song - Yuan Dynasty). A Yaozhou water dropper was presented in perfect condition.
The glaze condition was very good except some incursions had been happened to the rim of the venting hole and the beak-like mouth.
Amusingly found at the bottom, there were three padding clays were still adhered without being removed.
It was really rare to find an ancient porcelain ware which was solely for scholar use.
A similar piece but from Longquan site was documented.
