Though not necessarily intended as a mizusashi, it sits well next to a Shigaraki chawan in photo #6. ***I should also mention there is a fine crack where the knob meets the lid that is not sharp and does not effect the use and function of this piece.

This tsubo is in fine condition and does not have a box and the potter has not been identified. The piece measures 7.25" x 6.5".

Dark and rich Ao glazed teabowl over a thickly slipped and combed, kushime surface. The teabowl is made out of a dark iron bearing clay that I made myself and is altered and the foot is hand cut using a sharpened piece of bamboo.

Medieval influenced jug with repeated impressed design around the apex of the jug with a further stamp at the base of the rounded handle. Though this glaze simulates "galena" glazes, it is lead free and food safe!
