This fine belt buckle measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". The top portion is 14K gold and the rest is sterling silver. It is slightly convex. I was unable to get a good picture of the top, because of a lighting reflection. It is marked 14K and STERLING with the CROSS maker's mark. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Superb Retro 18K yellow gold and platinum duette brooch set wtih diamonds and rubies. The design is an exciting overlap of scrolled gold ribbons, the ends accented with platinum and pave-set with round-cut diamonds. The center of the brooch is set with a cluster of prong-set round-cut rubies. The back of the brooch features a mechanism that allows the piece two be disassembled into two separate smaller pins. This "duette" mechanism was used only on the finest pieces during the Retro period...

A lovely 18K yellow and white gold and ruby heart-shaped love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out Plus qu’hier, moins que demain,” (“More than yesterday, less than tomorrow.”) a line from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of “Cyrano”) in 1889. The word “plus” is symbolized by a plus sign in white gold and the word “moins” by a minus sign set with rectangular cut synthetic rubies...

This is a pair of stylish 14Kt white gold and diamond openwork hanging earrings. Each earring is set with a larger diamond and three smaller diamonds. The approximate total weight of all eight diamonds is 0.60Ct. The earrings have posts, and measure 1 3/8” high and 7/16” wide.

Beautiful large aquamarine 18k gold ring in period retro setting, c.1940's. Emerald cut stone is approx. 10-13 carats(measuring 3/4" long by 5/8" wide by 7/16" deep. A gorgeous Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover designed with what appears to be a flower with ornately ruffled petals. Closer inspection, however, reveals that the flower petals are actually the flowing hair of a woman whose face can be seen at the upper portion of the locket. The design is even completed with pistils and stamens. "Anthropomorphism"--the merging of human and animal or human and plant characteristics was a popular decorative element in the Art Nouveau period...

A wonderful, finely detailed 18K gold pendant / brooch featuring a cat surrounded by an ivy-covered wood wreath. The cat has bright emerald eyes and wears a platinum collar with an old European cut diamond at the front. The pendant is finely engraved to represent the cat’s fur and the wood and foliage textures of the frame. Even the back is engraved in a wood texture. Cat jewelry is extremely difficult to find—this example is one of the two best we have had in the last 20 years...

A stunning Georgian floral pendant worked in silver-topped 18K gold. The radiating petals are studded with diamonds in the newly fashionable “a jour” or open settings that came into vogue around 1800. The selection of diamonds is a virtual history of early diamond cutting and includes rose cuts, Mazarin cuts, table cuts, and Peruzzi cuts. The flower is centered with an unheated cornflower blue sapphire, likely of Ceylon origin...

A lovely pair of Victorian earrings worked in 14K yellow, rose and green gold depicting a mother bird watching over her nest of three tiny eggs. The bird is nicely three-dimensional for added interest. The design is simply finished with a zigzag border. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

A very fine 18K yellow gold fob charm set with coral cameos...

This well designed 14Kt white gold estate ring is centered by a 6X4 millimeter emerald cut natural sapphire. The center stone is flanked on either side by five full cut diamonds. The approximate weight of the center sapphire is 0.60Ct, while the approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.10Ct. The ring is a size 7 and can easily be sized.

A lovely 14K yellow gold flower pin enameled in elegant shades of lilac and cream by Bippart, Griscom & Osborn. The five petals are nicely undulating around a central pearl, and a gold stem peaks out at the bottom. The back is stamped with Bippart's 14K gold mark.

A mid-Victorian 1-1/2 x 1/2" barbell-style bar pin with enamel and seed pearls c1860-70. This pin has fancy ornate hand-tooled gold work with cobalt blue enamel stars and seed pearls. It is in 15k yellow gold (unmarked but tested), it has an E. Woodrow inscription on the mount, and it has a c-clasp closure. This sleek deco style pendant is from the 1960's and made of 14Kt yellow gold. It is centered by a bezel set 10 X 12 millimeter caboshon oval lapis. The pendant measures 1 3/8" in height and 1 1/8" in width. The weight is 8.5 grams which makes this wonderfully cast pendant relatively heavy for its size. It would look exquisite on any chain as well as on a collar or an Omega necklace.
