An elegant Edwardian bracelet comprising rectangular filigree plaques of 14K gold centering collet-set oval amethysts. The filigree is amazingly detailed. The amethysts have rich, saturated color and no zoning. The tongue of the clasp is stamped “14K.”

These great Billiken earrings havea gold nugget "navel." They are suspended by screwbacks that are marked 1/20 12K GF with a maker's mark I cannot make out. The Billikens themselves measure 5/8" x 1". They are in excellent condition. They could be a possible match to my Trocadero item #771672. They would also make great charms if removed from the screwbacks.

Amethyst and seed pearl pendant/enhancer is set in 14Kt yellow gold. The 18 X 13 millimeter oval faceted amethyst bezel set in the center is encircled by seed pearls. The bail opens from the back to allow the pendant be worn either on a chain, a strand of pearls or beads. The pendant is ¾” wide and 1 ¼” high.

A stunning Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold locket, the cover with repousse decoration illustrating the Byzantine Empress Theodora. Though we’ve never seen this particular design before, Byzantine motifs were widely used in Art Nouveau jewels, especially in France where they were copied from costumes created for the actress Sarah Bernhardt and posters by Alphonse Mucha. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...
