Very special Art Nouveau gold filled double-sided "Mercury" motif pendant, circa 1900. In Roman mythology, Mercury was the messenger and protector. This beautifully executed pendant is circle shaped and features a youthful Mercury wearing a winged helmet surrounded by eight marcasite stars, hinged at the base, reverse side with script monogram EMJ. This beautiful pin / brooch by Askel Holmsen has a diameter of 1 1/8". It is sterling vermeil with vivid, yellow enamel (basse-taille or guilloche) with a great design. The back is marked NORWAY STERLING, the Holmsen maker's mark / hallmark NORWAY STERLING 925 S,” and has the Holmsen maker’s mark which looks like 2 interlocking, horizontal V's: the are actually 2 overlapping silversmith tools. The brooch has a C-catch and a diameter of 1”. It is in superb condition. c 1950s

This beautiful ring is just under a size 6 (perhaps 5.75). It has a lovely foliate design topped off 3 flowers with prong set, very colorful opals inside. The band is marked 10K and MCO with a maker's mark with which I am unfamiliar. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This handsome and money clip / billfold measures 1 7/8" x 3/4". It has displays textured, alternating yellow, white and rose gold (1/20, 14KGF) "stripes." The "lip" is marked ANSON 1/20 14KGF and is in excellent condition.

This wonderfully interesting ring is 5.75 in size and is made of 10K gold. The front has a swirled shape with 4 graduating, colored stones (ball-shaped). The inside of the band is marked 10K and has a maker's mark of an S inside a pentagon. Its truly unusual and in excellent condition.

A nice vintage 18K yellow gold spherical charm studded with red cabochons (possibly stained red chalcedony). The gold surfaces are nicely decorated with bright-cut engraving that simulates the beading of classic Etruscan pieces. Large charms of this sort were very popular during the 1950s and 60s. A lovely and very unusual late Victorian circle brooch in 14K yellow gold, enhanced with pearl- and emerald-set flowers and enameled leaves. Each flower is represented by a cluster of six seed pearls centering a small old mind cut emerald. The flowers are set between pairs of leaves delicately enameled in translucent shades of green and yellow. One side of the pin is decorated only with a line of pearls, a nice assymetrical touch...

 

This great charm / pendant tells the story of the old nursery rhyme, "There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children she didn't know what to do." The charm is 3 dimensional and depicts a "shoe house." The detail is great (better than photo). The shoe opens to reveal the old lady and children, dressed colorfully and marked 14K by the littlest child. This charm is even adorned with a small diamond or cz on the toe of the shoe. This charm/pendant, in the shape of Arizona, depicts a map of The Grand Canyon State, its major cities: Scottsdale, Tucson, and its Capital, Phoenix which is highlighted by a ruby. It measures 3/4" x 5/8" (at its longest and widest) x 1/16". It also outlines The Grand Canyon. The backside reads ARIZONA and is marked 14K. It has good heft. There are slight surface scratches but the charm is still in excellent condition.

This charm/pendant measures 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/4". It is made of carved, ivory colored has a 14K gold belly button / navel. It's a neat piece and in excellent condition. It can also be a match for my Trocadero item #955524.

A delightful Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold circle pin, the center set with an enameled trillium blossom. The petals are beautifully enameled in translucent shades of ivory and green. The gold surface below the enamel is intricately engraved. The blossom is centered by a pale coral bead. The periphery of the circle brooch is set with small seed pearls. The back retains the original pinstem and clasp marked 14K and bearing the hallmark for Bippart, Griscomb & Osborn.

Wonderful 14k gold ring constructed around a 19th century shell cameo by ED WIENER, NYC, c.1960. Made of very heavy gauge gold(weighs 10dwt=1/2 troy oz.), it is size 7. This is a really neat, rare, old charm. It is the game of Pachinko: an old Japanese lottery game. It is 14K gold and made by A.C. It features a rotating canister with little balls inside that move.
