This very attractive pair of earrings combines hammered and fluted designs. The pear shaped tops have posts and push backs, and the bottom pendulum part moves freely. Despite the size of the earrings, 2” high and ½” wide, they are relatively light weight and are very comfortable to wear.

Presented in its original box, a lovely 18K yellow gold, diamond and ruby love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out “Plus qu’hier, moins que demain” (“More than yesterday less than tomorrow”), a line from a love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of “Cyrano de Bergerac”) in 1889...

This stunner tests as a very strong 14kt, so it’s very likely to a 15kt English piece. It is set with what we are pretty sure is an iolite (hard to test because of the setting), and 4 pear-shaped purple garnets, all foiled, all set within an Etruscan Revival motif of coiling snake-like decorated gold ropes and leaves, with two dangling gold chains. The brooch measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4" deep and weighs 8.7g. With the chains, the whole piece measures 2-1/2” long...

Sterling over 18K diamond floral spray brooch from the mid-19th C. This lovely three dimensional brooch has a prong set Old Mine Cut center stone and numerous rose cut diamonds of varying sizes throughout. Brooch measures 2 3/8" long and 3/4" wide (at widest). The back of the brooch is yellow gold with a trombone clasp. There appears to be a very small repair spot on the back of the brooch (just found on close inspection), otherwise excellent condition...

Each double fetter link on our 18” chunky Victorian albert chain is connected to 3 love knot links with the pattern repeats eight times. The T-bar and dog clips are stamped 9 carat. This pretty ring is composed of a cluster of 7 amethysts, birthstone for February (and in legend, thought to guard against poison and drunkenness) and on either side of the cluster, a bezel-set accent diamond and one tiny half seed pearl.
