Hand made in the early 1930's this large 2 1/4" X 2 1/4" Spratling design weighs 47 grams. The buckle will fit up to a 1 1/4" wide strap. The high 980 grade silver provides an exceptional silky texture to the design. The hallmarks on the back are WS TAXCO 980 Mexico. An antique pin with a modern vibe. This charming Arts & Crafts is made of sterling silver that has been enameled in artfully shaded blue to chartreuse to look like the wings of a stylized moth. A mother-of-pearl oval centers the body, and there is a small faceted green 'stone' (possibly glass) at the head. The pin is 1 ½ by 3/4 inches in size, not including the small spherical dropper which is enameled in a rich blue. The pin is circa 1900.

These items by the noted Ecuadoran silversmith, Joaquin Tinta may be purchased individually or as a pair.

The first one is a sterling silver modernist pendant with a bezel set green - brown swirled stone cabochon.

Measures 1 3/8" across and 1 5/8" high including the round bale. Due to the large bale it could be worn on a chain or neck ring. The central section swings for an interesting effect.

A pair of vintage circa 1955 sterling silver and enamel brooches by Margot de Taxco, (Margot Van Voorhies Carr). One is a dark grey poodle dog, #5686 and the other is a multicolored rooster, #5793. These brooches may be purchased individually or as a pair.

The poodle measures 2 1/4" high and 1 1/8" at the widest. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5686. Also marked with Eagle #16.

A three dimensional 916 silver brooch in an Arts and Crafts design by Holger Lindstrom, (1937-1968), Helsinki Finland. Has a concave oxidized center and four pointed onyx bezel set cabochons. There are textured recessed areas around each stone for an interesting contrast.

This hand crafted brooch measures 1 5/8" in diameter and about 3/8" high.

Has two curved and flattened links and a central longer piece with a cultured pearl nested in the center. The links are connected by curved bars with orbs at each end.

Measures approximately 14 1/2" around. The necklace lays gently on the collarbone due to the curvature of the design. Hook closure allows for an extender to be attached if needed.

A rare and wonderful brooch by Walter U. Jennings, a highly regarded Roycroft Metalsmith. Signed with his conjoined monogram (WJ), and Sterling.

Beautifully hand tooled in a classic Arts and Crafts design. Warm patina. Measures 1 3/8" across. Early 'C' clasp. Has a small hairline on the back that corresponds to the indentation on the front design. Does not detract from the overall design.

Fine craftsmanship.

Three old jade medallions carved in the shape of a butterfly and lotus flowers and set in silver adorn this beautiful Chinese brooch. Definitely an early 20th c. piece as attested to by the clasp's pin that protrudes beyond the sterling frame, this is a delightfully airy pin, its delicate lightness enhanced by the subtle colors in the stones and the winged creature it represents.
