A vintage oil on canvasboard painting of distant green gentle mountain ranges, a cluster of structures (a farm) and surrounding trees in the foreground, unsigned but written apparently by the Claremont, New Hampshire framer on the backing paper appears "Mark V. Miller/For Mother/1949/Lyme Rd., NH/Looking over into VT". Also, written in pencil on the canvasboard is "Mrs. Leon Miller/8B/pick up colors"...

A fine example of the renowned still life paintings produced by French artist ROBERT CHAILLOUX (1913-2006), measuring 13" by 16" (20" by 23" in gold frame). The oil on canvas, signed at lower left, is in excellent condition. Chailloux exhibited at the Salon des Arts Francaises by 1940, and numerous times in subsequent decades. His work was shown at the Hermitage in Leningrad and the Pushkin Museum in Moscow in 1975...

This is an original oil on canvas painting of the Madonna and Child. It is in a gorgeous gilt wood frame. The artist was Austrian, Hans Zatzka (1886-1945) In signing the painting, he used one of his pseudonyms, H. Ballheim. The painting is dated 1886. It measures 42 1/2 inches by 37 1/2 inches.

A contemporary watercolor painting of a flowering shrub, unsigned, 12" by 18" (20" by 26" in attractive gold frame in good condition), possibly of east coast origin as the framer's sticker is from Boston. This reminds somewhat of mountain laurel, the state flower of Connecticut, but that is pure speculation (mountain laurel is usually more white though there are pink and dark pink varieties).
