A silver plated shallow dish by the famed French firm CHRISTOFLE, 6 5/8" diameter, about 7/8" high. The marks on the bottom show this to have been produced between 1935 and 1983, most likely towards the middle or later portion of that period. This Matchless star Christmas light has clear glass prisms and a red glass gem. The base is bakelite and the bulb is C-6. These star lights were manufactured by the Matchless Electic Co. of Chicago, circa 1930. This light is 2 inches in diameter and in working condition. Condition: excellent.

Really nice look with plenty of age. This would hang on the kitchen wall and you can put a pencil/pen through one of the hands and the paper would be stuck to apron. Someone has some point has stuck an old kitchen related card to it I would say. A superb quality antique 19th century Spanish hunting plug bayonet with sturdy, tapering, double-edged blade of a waving (flamboyant) form, with a finely engraved band of foliage on each side.
