Measuring 13 inches high, this delightful, hand-made, brother and sister pair of Black cloth dolls were made circa 1940's, by "Roxie" of Asheville, North Carolina, as attested to by the dollmaker's tag sewn on the brother's backside.

Both dolls are in near perfect condition with the exception of a tiny teardrop mark under brother's left eye and a tiny hole next to sister's left side of face on her hairline...

Certainly the finest and most decorative vintage chocolate box we've come across! This is a c1930s-40s (we think) paper wrapped box with an applied print of two kittens on the top. The textured paper wrap is wallpaper thick with lush gold highlights, and this box has a gold Urney applique. The original tied ribbon is also present on this 13-3/4 x 9-3/4" box, which has the original sticker on the bottom (CHOCOLATES - 1-1/2 LB NET MANUFACTURED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND)...

All Complete and in working order, I suspect this was made in Japan and the instructions booklet was Printed in this case, in France. Plastic Figures are mounted on the metal mechanical windup bases and then it moves around and they fight!!!

In lovely condition with the exception of subtle fading to Mammy's red head kerchief, this delightful 1940's pin cushion doll appears to have been unused! No pinholes can be seen!

Mammy's head and body are actually constructed of a single wooden clothespin that was then inserted into her cotton-batting-padded skirt. Her face is hand-painted, she has a tuft of white cotton batting hair peeking out from her kerchief, and her apron is stamped in black ink "Souvenir of New Orleans"...

This fun vintage large cast iron Fedora hat-form paperweight is straight out of the 30's, comprised of gold painted nicely detailed banded hat with a worn look, circa 1940, probably American made. Big statement making fabulous vintage 1940s round box bag beaded in brilliant glittering iridescent peacock blue vitrail glass micro beads, with a soft flexible beaded strap. Unmarked, this toy is in very good condition with tiny superficial surface scratches wherever metal rubs metal during toy movement. To operate the toy, one simply squeezes the metal lever on the back, which causes the clown to hit poor Golly on the head with a mallet!
