This is a great example of the British-Australian sword bayonet (Mark I), which was designed to be used with the short magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) rifle. The Pattern 1907 bayonet was used by the British and Commonwealth forces during the First and Second World Wars.

Each with an arched crossbar, apple-shaped stirrups surmounted at the top with an elongated suspension loop pierced with a slot to receive a suspension strap. The sauce boat measures 5" from the edge of the spout to the outer edge of the curved handle and it stands 2-1/4" tall (excluding the handle) on it's four hoof style feet. The boat has the Birks date mark for 1942 while the 5-5/8 x 3-5/8" tray bears a 1946 date stamp. Very nice vintage tin child’s sand pail decorated with a patriotic lithograph of an American eagle in red, white and blue. The patriotic theme is unusual. The pail is marked by Ohio Art. Circa 1940s. Wear and rusting from normal use, but no big dings and cracks. The graphics are nice and bright. 6-1/8” high to top rim; 6-1/4” top diameter.

An extremely nice Wedgwood jasperware button depicting Andromache weeping over the ashes of Hector. Dating from the 4th quarter of the 18th century, the button is incised "WEDGWOOD" and the later mount is hallmarked as silver.
