Original antique Arts and Crafts era mission style hammered Iron fire screen c.1930. A classic design in excellent antique condition. From a Palo Alto California craftsman bungalow built c.1920. Measurements are the center screen is 36" wide and 31" high the end panels measure 15" wide and 31" high so opened completely the size is 66" wide and 31" high. The height to the top of the handles is 34".

This elegant and amazing sculptural bowl form, attr Fratelli Toso in the 1970s, has a strong presence to accent its environment. Done in the Sommerso technique, with clear, pale blue and red, the free-form flow reminds the viewer that glass is a liquid. Tip to tip is 12", height 6", width 5". Bottom is polished. It is in excellent condition.

A fabulous Bizen Tane-Tsubo Seed Jar in the Momoyama style by Living National Treasure Kaneshige Toyo enclosed in a wooden box annotated by Kaneshige Kosuke. Beautiful Hi-iro flame coloring brightens the sides and a smattering of yellow flying ash clings to the shoulder about a line of waves. Chidori plovers soar between warm green clouds draped over the rim of this Oribe style bowl by Kitaoji Rosanjin enclosed in a double wood box (Nijubako) annotated by Living National Treasure Kaneshige Toyo. On the bottom of the bowl is the star mark of Rosanjin, which he used to mark pieces made for his restaurant. The bowl is 16.5 cm (6-1/2 inches) diameter and in excellent condition. A signed Locke Art goblet with grape and lines etching. This goblet is 6 ½ inches tall and bears the unusual “Jo Locke Art” signature. There is some minor roughness to a small section of the rim.

The three dimensional shape resembles a flared skirt when viewed in front and a boat keel when viewed from the side.
