This pretty yellow Florentine Number 1, aka Poppy Number 1, depression glass 10 inch three-part grill plate was made by Hazel Atlas from 1932 to 1935. This lovely black trophy vase is by L. E. Smith from the 1930s. It features a large heart shape cameo with two women dancing with scarves. The rim is ruffled and it stands in a square foot. This ebony vase stands 7 1/8" tall and 4 1/2" across the ruffle rim; it is in excellent, unused condition. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.

A child's helmet (khohl) from Pakistan which is daily attire for both girls and boys of the villages in Kohistan. It measures 34 cm from the beaded tassel on the peaked crown to the forehead hem, and 102.5 cm from the tassle to the V-shaped bottom hem. The diameter of the cap is 27.5 cm. Satin stitch and petit point (half cross stitch) in silk thread on a black cotton ground, the helmet is embellished all over with white and red glass beads and buttons. An 8 inch diameter Durand (Vineland Flint Glass) salad plate in green with opal peacock feather decoration with a crosshatched cut center and a geometric border with floral lozenges.

Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead with cherry red body and 2 clusters of white flowers and beautiful ribbed leaves. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece - see finely textured petals and yellow centers of the flowers and fine structures of the leaves, in perfect condition. Height 0.65 inches.
