Horseshoe is the collector's name for Indiana Glass Company's pattern No. 612. Produced from 1930 to 1933, it's a lovely pattern that's as popular today as it was when it was first made. This Turkman Yomut's child's cap from Herat measures 17.8 cm in diameter and 49.5 cm in circumference, 5.5 cm in height. It is estimated to date to the mid 20th century and is in excellent condition. The embroidery technique is cotton thread in a tightly worked satin stitch on a light beige cotton ground.

This vintage textile is from Bamiyan province, Afghanistan and measures 25.5 x 26 cm. Embroidered in pastel-colored silk thread on a fine white linen, it depicts in satin stitch the triangular shapes that are typical of Hazara embroidery. The continuous supplementary-weft technique makes this textile reversible and either face may be used as the front. Condition: Excellent (e.g., no tears, holes, stains). Estimated age: probably 1950-1960.

an elegant desk top item, this is a decorative American sterling silver dish having a repousse rim of flowers and scrollwork, center monogram McC, mark on base resembles a griffin, possibly A. L. Silberstein, and Sterling mark, CA. 1915; measures 5 3/4 in. diameter and 1 in. H approx, in very good condition.

Large Chinese jade (nephrite) ceremonial piece, in the style of the Liangzhu period (3400-2250 BC), with carvings of faces. This nephrite piece is solid and has a pointed tip, and dpierced hole through its very top. The carvings around its edges look like eyes and may be related to the taotie (roughly "gluttonous ogre mask") motif, which were essentially symmetrical zoomorphic faces with no lower jaw, thought by scholars to be linked to religious ceremony and the afterlife...

This Fenton French opalescent bell (Knobby Bull's Eye) was produced in 1980 and stands 7" tall. This bell was made from goblet moulds originally owned by the Redcliff Company (whom made ironstone dinnerware.)

Vintage pair of hand wrought sterling silver and rosewood serving pieces designed & signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). This elegant "CARNIVALE" vase by Fratelli Toso has polychrome colors and a satin finish. Produced in the 1920's, the CARNIVALLE series is sought after by collectors. See Leslie Pina's book: FRATELLI TOSO, ITALIAN GLASS 1854-1980, page 48-49. The vase is 8.25"h x4.5"w, unmarked and is in excellent condition.

Finely crafted Chinese white jade pendant suspended on red silk cord with small green jade bead depicting Shoulao, God of Longevity in high relief, holding a peach, surmounted by a bat. Smooth polished surface with incised details. Slight wear at bottom edge. Size; Hight of carving is 2 5/8 inches with length of 2 inches.
