Unusual Japanese WWII metal obidome (sash ornament) with low relief chrysanthemum flower and stylized character on the front, and 2 characters and year 1942 on the back. Beautiful metal work, nicely made back of the piece. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Very well made, pleasant patina. Diameter 1.18 inches.
Vintage Chinese silver with gold wash and enamel pendant in a form of a running dog with its tongue sticking out and balancing a ball on its nose. Very well made, excellent depiction of its fur, in excellent condition. Weight 2.6 grams, length 1.28 inches.
Japanese vintage obi with a mid-century modern flair, decorated on one side in bright yellow with orange and lime green dots accenting the points of a raised weave geometric star-patterned background. The orange reverse side holds the same raised weave pattern. Probably dates from the mid-20th century or slightly later. 135” long x 5 7/8” wide. Excellent, like new condition.

An unmarked but Arts and Crafts period bud vase with a square and austere silver plated base and a hand blown and pulled square glass vase insert with a flared neck c1890-1900. This vase measures 7/8" across the base and it stands 6" high; it has all of the handcrafted style expected in the Arts and Crafts European style of this era. We were informed that it probably came from Scotland originally...
A hand-carved wood statuette of a man, approximately 11" high, 3" wide, the wood possible oak but not definitively determined. The creator did not sign the piece. Age is also unknown though mid 20th century is likely. Could be American or maybe European.
