Japanese Red Lacquer Sake Dish, Meiji period, Ca. 1900, 6 1/4" diameter, 1 1/2" high, representing Japanese Makie Lacquer techniques used, Gold Castle, Silver Lacquered wall, trees and Mountains with peaceful fishing boat in the lake. This Sake Dish is "as is" small chip on top, two(2) areas on the side restored, please see photos.

Chinese Lacquer Papier Mache Dish, 3/4" diameter, made during 18th to 19th century. Large Chinese Character in gold in the center on a very rich dark red lacquer background. There are some red lacquer loses around the rim.

Case mask painted black with green mark on forehead representing a snipe track and white moon symbols on cheeks, snout with teeth, wildcat skin ruff. Velvet shirt, white trousers. Carries a knife. Chaveyo may come at any time during the spring months if Hopi children are particularly bad. "The boogie man will get you if you don't watch out."

4.5" Has the word “Navajo” stamped in the bowl, and a rocker engraved face stamped in the bowl, similar to that on the handle. It has two arrows on the handle. c. 1895-1910.
Antique Chinese seated Guanyin made of bronze and beautifully decorated with bright colored enamel. She hold a water jar in her right hand. In her crown sits a small image of Amitabha, her spiritual teacher. Her robes are decorated with raised auspicious objects and swirling clouds. Guanyin is short for Guan Shi Yin which means "Observing the Sounds of the World"...
