Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419), Founder of the Ganden monastery in 1409, is portrayed with lifelike facial expression and graceful bearing. This hand made gold plated cloisonn¨¦ and turquoise bracelet is 7 inches long and half of an inch wide. There are eight turquoise pieces surrounded by a butterfly design. The workmanship is wonderful. Aside from missing one small wire piece on the side, it is in great shape. It is an early 20th century product and is from the collection of a retired Hong Kong jeweler. The back has a woven pattern.

A large size Phagli mask , figuring the typical deity of Himachal Praddesh, likely a demon with sharp ears and frightful open mouth, one interesting point are the lines marked with red mineral pigment. Jade bangle bracelet with apple green highlights, from China with storage box, 20th century Size: Diameter 3.5" outer, 2.25" inner, .5" thickness

The natural ash glaze gradates from a light-glossy grey on one side to a blueish grey on the other. The foot of the bowl is unglazed at the base and shows traces of ferrous-rich clay in the form of an orangish hue. The mouth of the piece is somewhat oblong giving it an attractive shape and the rough texture and ash deposits in places give this bowl a weighty presence...

Beautiful Chinese red colored silk embroidery with flowers all hand made robe. Condition: some small stains, It has some frayed at the bottom of edges. Otherwise in good condition.

Large Japanese woodblock print by renowned artist Hideo Hagiwara (1913-2007). Studied at the Tokyo school of Fine Arts, where he graduated at the Oil Painting Section in 1938. While still there he attended Un'ichi Hiratsuka's extracurricular woodblock printing course, and in the same year he became quality controller at the Takamizawa Woodblock Print Company. He was conscripted into the army in 1943. In 1945 he had lost his house, his atelier and nearly all his early works...

A Chinese Porcelain Figurine from 19th/early 20th Century. In the shape of a man smoking a pipe. Good condition. No cracks. The head of the pipe is missing as seen in the picture 1A. A finely carved Chinese agate in the form of a popular motif often seen in Tibet which is the windhorse. The use of Tibetan motifs in Chinese arts began during the Ming dynasty with patronage of the Tibetan high lamas and continued onwards into the Qing Dynasty. The windhorse is carrying a pecha or sutra text, a signature motif often found on windhorses. The stylized ribbons and the waves are done in the Chinese style.
