A bowl, made in imitation of late Qing Imperial style, with two roundels - one depicting a five clawed Dragon and the other a Phoenix - both separated by two iron red bats and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries what is probably the factory mark which, in Pinyin, reads "Jiu Jiang Hui Kang Chu Pin". This item was made in China in the 1940s during the late Republic period. This Chinese Famille Rose brush holder is 5” high and 3 11/16” in diameter. It depicts an old sage and his young servant in a garden. The Chinese title of the picture is "Mr. Yuan-Ming admires chrysanthemum blossoms." The date on the side of the brush holder is winter, 1925. The artist’s name is Tu Zhu-Zhung. There is a red maker’s mark on the bottom which says New China Company, Nan-Chang City. It is in excellent condition.

Chinese porcelain dish with garden scene. Three figures sit around a table eating fruit while a fourth figure stands, gazing at something. The party is seated under hanging lamps. The border of the bowl is intricately decorated with chrysanthemums, peonies, and other flowers. The back of the dish has a red stamp and three bands of flowers. It measures 13" diameter. Republic period mid 20th century.

This hand painted Chinese Famille Rose tea caddy is 5 ¼” high and 3 ½” wide from the widest part. It depicts a black mynah resting on a branch of peach blossoms. A few willow tree branches are behind the bird. The date on the side of the tea caddy is March, 1934. There are four characters on the cover “(tea) can cleanse mind and heart”...

This item was probably made, circa 1950-1975, during the third quarter of the 20th Century. A set of four wine cups individually painted in traditional Chinese landscape style and each bearing the verse "Xin Kuan Wang Di Zhia" which translates directly as "Heart Broad Forget Ground Narrow". The bases carry the iron red four character reign mark of the Hongxian 'emperor' (1916) but these items were probably made later, during the Republic Period, circa 1917-1949. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration...
