Each panel is 46.6 inches (118.5 cm) long by 38 inches (96.5 cm) wide. The kesi is 21.2 inches (54 cm) long by 18.1 inches (46 cm) wide.

They are in good condition with no repairs or discoloration, except foxing, small stains, and a minor tear (as seen in the photos).

Fire lighting implement consisting of a piece of iron, pieces of fabric and a fragment of flint stone, the whole set being contained in a rattan box. This implement belonged formerly to a member of a tribe located in Palawan Island, South West of the Philipino Archipelago. Such tribe, like a few others in this island, has in some aspects remained in the Stone Age. It was put under the protection of the Philipino Government some 40 years ago. Chinese blanc de chine porcelain statue of Quan Yin, the Buddhist bodhisattva associated with compassion. Her name is short for Guanshiyin, meaning "Observing the Cries of the World." She is seated upon a large wooden seat and wears a gorgeous cascading robe with strands of beads adorning her torso and legs. In her right hand she holds the branch of a willow tree. She is extremely detailed and beautiful. Dates from 19th century. Size: 10" hwight, 3" width

DESCRIPTION: A handsome rectangular Chinese chest crafted from a deep red ox leather and furnished with brass fittings. The interior still has the original blue silk lining and would have originally held scrolls or documents. Today it would make an attractive accent piece on top or underneath a cabinet or table. Good condition with some scuffing on edges; blue silk interior has some stains and small holes. This chest originated from Zhejiang Province and dates from 1920-1940...

A Hazara puttee estimated to date from the mid to late 20th century, in perfect condition. Measures 10x65 cm (with the tassel, 124 cm in length). Condition is excellent. On one side is a printed fabric, probably from Russia. The extremely fine brick stitch in interlocking diamond patterns is a hallmark of Hazara embroidery. Probably from Jaghori (Ghazni) or Bamiyan province.
