Rich impact art deco plate from the pottery master Kanou Mitsuo. He was born and lived in Kyoto c.1903-1970. He was known for his tortoiseshell glazes. This is real bone carving panel/painting depicting dragons playing with fire ball. At the back of it is the chinese character of Fok and 5 bats surrounding it. Made using animal bones put together and it is of vintage age artwork made, the polychrome colour pigment is applied on it, it is already fading away and it has its' nice old patina and feel, the two fierce dragons are positioned nicely among clouds and landscape, quite lifely....please enquire.

This piece is carved in deep relief with a classical scene depicting a princess dancing before the peasants , an oldman and a child as well as a buffulo in the countryside welcoming her presence. Should be of 20th century made, vintage piece, not antique. It has some worm holes and small cracked.
