This dark brown jar is very old and in great condition. It was produced in the Liao dynasty (907–1125).

This red and grayish jadeite has a carved squirrels and grapes design. The pendant is 2 1/8 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide and carries a fancy 14K gold bale. It is in excellent condition.
An antique Chinese Lingbi stone (scholar's rock or spirit stone) has a very distinct ring when it is struck. Scholar's rocks are appreciated for their unusual shapes, asymmetry, color and texture. Scholars refer to them as "bones of the earth". It is a carved blackish stone overhang with perforations. It set upon a contemporary Shuozhou style carved rosewood base with 4 rounded feet.

This carved jadeite Guan-Yin is holding a vase and a string of prayer beads. It is 1 ¾ inches long. It is carved on both sides and a small hole has been drilled for a bale. It is in good condition.

Japanese bronze usubata in the form of an open natural lotus, standing on a coiled stem with a lotus bud. Usubata are used for beautiful flower arrangements, an art form known as ikebana.

This tsumugi (raw, knobby silk, similar to tweed) purse was purchased at the well-known Kyoto antique textile shop Nakamura Chingiriya in 1972. It is unused and still has original box.
H.6"(15cm) x W.6.25"(16cm.) Snap closes on one side, with eyelet for a hand, shoulder, or waist strap on the other. Indigo dyed folk materials and an elegant purse design make it suitable for kimono or jeans.
3 robed figures appear decidedly relaxed on the edge of a rock-strewn river lost in dark mountains. Above a poem reads:
Furusato ha Arukiteyukeru Tokoro ni-te, Yama ari, Mizu ari, kataru yuujin ari (Walking through my home(town) I find mountains, water and friends for conversation).
Ink on paper bordered in patterned silk with bone rollers...
