An interesting square porcelain brush pot with a long inscription of the Chu Shi Biao composed by the 3rd century strategist, Zhuge Liang. The inscription makes the argument that the state of Shu Han must fight against Cao Wei. The calligrapher at the end signs and dates the piece: The 23rd Year of Kangxi, (inscribed by) Wen Fang. Black mask with an unusual slightly conical coiffe. Africa, Gabon, Punu Peoples. Height: 12 " ( 30 cm). The mask is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accidents and infestations (no danger), otherwise good condition. NOTE 1: A similar mask is in the Dapper Museum collection in Paris, published in "Masques" Editions Dapper 1995, 2000, 2006 Paris, page 89. NOTE 2: Punu masks are worn during funerals by members of the "Mukuji" Society and are meant to represent ancestors.

Signed French Lalique Glass vase, signed "Lalique, France", 6 1/2" high, 4 3/4" wide-widest middle part, 4 1/4" diameter for top rim, very heavy weight and frosted 14 birds inside the deep cut out circles wrapped around with continuing vines, all birds are in different position, with clear glass top and bottom rim. This Lalique vase is in good condition and some small scratches on the bottom from the age, no chips or damage.

Fenton made Crystal Crest in 1941. This double crested vase is 6.25" tall and in mint condition. Notice that Crystal Crest is a DOUBLE crested vase. One could call it a "Snow Crested Silver Crest."
