Large early Republic Chinese cloisonne lidded box on stand that could have graced a scholar’s desk. This tripod censer is raised on three animal-masked feet that support its large, rounded body. The rim is decorated with a key fret design, and the body has ten lappets composed of stylized mask and key fret designs all in low relief. It retains its original brown patina overall with a deep greenish gray interior from use. Good condition.

A large and very impressive tomb pottery horseman, Chinese, 1368-1644 AD. The type has been thoroughly tested and was burnt approx 500 years ago, placing it in the mid Ming period, c. early-mid 16th. century.

The pottery horseman, a higher-ranking officer, was probably originally equipped with a standard of wood, that has now decayed. He is clad in body armor in blue and torquise and wears a cone- shaped helmet. He is riding a white horse with details in torquise.

24034879 A nice small Pairpoint Rosaria compote, shape B-366. The compote has a Rosaria foot and bowl connected by a colorless stem with a bubble ball connector. Both the foot and the bowl are enhanced with a diamond quilted pattern. There is a polished pontil mark and there is no damage. The compote is 6 1/4 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall.
