Under magnification, the diamond appears a tiny bit offset in its illusion setting (white gold or platinum-not tested), but this is not evident to the naked eye. Both the foot and the bowl are enhanced with a diamond quilted pattern. There is a polished pontil mark and there is no damage. The compote is 6 1/4 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall.
