A lovely slender type of Danish Neolthic battle axe, c. 2800-2400 BC.

A cute well-proportioned battle axe with sharp lines and smoothly polished edges!

Size: 11,3 cm.

A pear-shaped stone mace head, carved in a nice cream-brown stone, Egyptian Pre-Dynastic period, c. 3rd. mill. BC.
Finely polished and symethrically drilled and measuring 4,7 cm. in diameter. Old black reg. number from collection or museum inventory, 'Æ27'.

Condition: Nice very fine, intact with minor spots of corrosion and fine patina.

A nice bronzeage paalstaff type of mid bronzeage axe, dating to the mid-late 2nd. millenium BC.

The axe was cat with a long ridge to secure it to the pole / shaft and out-swayed edge.

Size: 16,4 cm. long.

Condition: Near VF and intact, some corrosion and the axe was cleaned at one point.

An attractive large unpolished, thinbladed Danish neolithic axe dating to late 4th-early 3rd mill BC.

Very good knapping details on the sides and several old collection tags - found in Korsør By 1939!

Condition: Nice VF! Choice axe with edges and a lovely light brown marsh patina, small chip only visible at one side, othervise near EF.

A scarce set of four Danish Neolithic silex blades. Two daggers and two spear points, dating to Daggertime, 2200-2000 BC.

The blades are all very thin and skillfully knapped in antiquity. Two blades of lancet dagger type and two spear points / javelins.

Collectors tags on three of the blades!

Sizes: c. 8,6 -12,7 cm

Condition: Fine-Very fine. A nice lot with beautiful patinas. One of the spearpoints is repaired, as seen on pictures.

A pair of stunning rare Precolumbian stone tools or carving, Taino Culture, Hispaniola, pre 15th. century AD.

Interesting lot of two grey stone artifacts; one a rectangular stone tool with rounded corners and sides, verysymethric carving in a vulcanic hard stone, possibly a pestle, 10 cm. long and 8 cm. wide and 6,5 cm. thick, so quite massive. The other other an interesting granite looking stone shaped in human form or mummyform, 11,3 cm.

A very large and well-made flanged Javelin head, Danish stoneage, Neolithic period, Daggertime, latest fase, after 2000 BC.

The head is knapped in the parallel style, othervise only known from the fine daggers of the period, with flanges and with microchipping towards the edges.

Size: c. 7 cm. long.

Condition: Intact and choice with a few micro ancient losses. Fine white and calsified patina.

A large round stamp seal with a rare depiction engraved in the base, Mesopotamian 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

The seal is engraved with a Capride springing in the forrest as if in flight, struck and pierced through by two spears. The seal is carved in stone with a small handle.

Size: 28 mm. in diameter.

Condition: Nice VF, some tiny chips and deposits, but quite attractive.

An interesting lot of three ancient Bronze weapons from the Near East. Luristan, 2nd.-1st mill BC.

The lot consist of a tanged dagger, 19 cm., a large, tanged javelin, also 19 cm. and a tanged lance 22-23 cm.

All three items come with nice patinas andin choice condition.

Attractive boatshaped battle axe, from the battleaxe period, ca. mid 3rd. millenium BC.

A finely made battle axe with nice lines and curves, boat-shaped. One end thick and blunt to function as a hammer. Made in attractive brown-grey stone and with old collection tag in white ink (see below).

A very attractive unpolished Danish neolithic axe of the Single Grave slender type, dating c. 2800-2400 BC.

Very nicely knapping details on the sides and several old collection tags! The axe has finding date in black ink given as 4. september 1924, found in 'Hestehave'.

Size: c. 17,7 cm. in length.

Condition: Near EF. Choice axe with near perfect edges and a nice frosty bluish-grey patina.

An interesting selection of four Danish Neolithic axes, all dating to the 3rd. mill BC.

All axes are of the smaller, thinbladed type, that began to emerge and refine during the early 3rd mill. BC. Two axes / adzes with hollow edge and two nearly perfectly symmetrical. All are very nice examples of the neolithic toolbox.

Three axes come with old collection tags the one without has the finding date written (6/7 '38).

A fine stamp seal of calcified (or burnt?) calchedony, Neo-Babynian, c. 8th-7th. cent. BC.

Attractive trapezoid style seal. These seals are usually carved with Marduk at the alter, but this has a rare depiction of a sword, rhomboid symbol (perhaps and eye) and the Sun and Moon for the two major Babylonian deities of Marduk and Sin. A rare depiction. Size: 22 mm. tall and 20 mm wide.

Condition: Very fine, intact but with some wear around the piercing, hairlines and patina...

A choice and large tanged bronze lance, later 2nd. mill. BC. 'Luristan' Turkmenistan / Uzbekistan bronze age.

An advanced and impressive bronze lance with a long, bent tang, massive socket and a broad, leaf-shaped blade with highly profiled midrib.

A beautiful lance that would have been highly efficient on combat.

Size: c. 32 cm. long. - c. 13 inches.

Condition: Choice. Beautiful green bronze patina. Some roughness to the edge.

A lovely little set of three smaller axes, one likely German or Northern Europe, dark bronze hardstone and finely polished (9,8 cm), a nice green stone Meso-American celt, also neolithic period (6,2 cm), and lastly a pointed butt type, likely ancient Near East or Northern Africa (7,8 cm). Interesting lot that needs more study!
