A fantastic special collection of 11 stone animals, Andean cultures, c. 15th. cent.-18th. cent. AD.

Carved soapstone votive animal figures incl. cow, bull, ram, lama and wonderful small herds of farm animals!.

Sizeable figures, between 4,2 - 7,8 cm. long.

Condition: Choice, mostly intact figures, with few small losses. Lovely patinas!

Old Private Collection, 1950-190s.

A fantastic and very rare massive ritual spearpoint in black obsidian, Pre-Columbian or early colonial Mexico, likely Aztec manifacture, 14th.-16th. century.

The spearpoint made of one full flaking block of obsidian, with central unknapped areas to use its full size.

Size: 48 cm. long and weighing c. 2,2 kilograms!

Ex the collection of André Hüsken, Hamburg, Germany, c. 1990s.

Interesting and decorative fragment of a figural tile, Mexico, Aztecs, 1300 to 1521 AD.

The tile showing two warriors or deities fighting, one holding a dagger and both with elaborate headdresses.

Size: 26 x 19 cm. Thick.

Condition: Fragmentary, with most of the motif preserved, some corrosion to the front and more so on the back. Remnants of mortar or plaster.

Provenance: Collection of Gunna Munkvad, Denmark, aquired from the 1950s-1980s.

A really nice and quite scarce vessel shaped as a human figure with two smaller figures on either side, Late Chimü or early Incan, c. 13th.-14th. cent. AD.

Size: c. 17,5 cm. x 13 cm.

Condition: Good very fine and intact.

Condition: Choice! Nearly flawless with a very minor chip to the footring and some roughness at one place, perhaps uncleaned sediments...

Very interesting and unidentified Pre-Columbian pottery vessel or large Jug with handle, pre 15th. century AD and likly pre 1000 AD.

A very artful and attractive vessel with a small round spout and a bulbous body with 6 larger knobs in different colours, red, cream and black.

Perhaps from Peru or perhaps Columbia, we're not certain.

Size: 15,5 cm. in diameter and ca. 14,5 cm. high.

A rare pottery Jug with handle in red terracotta with the spout moulded as a human face and with eyes and brows drawn in black and cream. The arms on the belly drawn as well, all on a red glazed ground. Costa Rica, pre 15th. century

Size: ca. 12 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice, hairline repair to handle, othervise in perfect condition with preserved glaze. A very attractive vessel!

A rare Peruvian Stirrup Vessel, Chimú culture, ca. 1000-1300 AD.

The globular vessel with stirrup handle, the body decorated with two elongated, snake-like fish, fine little bird is seated at the handle.

Size: ca. 21,5 cm. high.

Pre-Columbian globular pottery jar, Chancay Peru, 1000-1400 AD.

A beautiful and scarce larger pottery jar from the Chancay culture, globular shape with applied handles in both sides and tiny animals on both sides as well. The pottery greyish white with black line decoration.

Size: 19 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice!, some roughness to the edge of the spout, othervise intact.

Two extremely rare and very attractive figurines from the Manteno culture: An oval shaped vessel with a human face and crossed legs of an animal in front. The face and the mouth of the vessel are framed by dashed lines and a stylized, sitting man with oversized head, 1000-1500 AD.

Wonderful archaic and very artful details. This set is extremely rare; we haven't similar style figures from Manteno in the trade for more than 20 years of dealing!

An extremely rare and important Erotic Sculpture, Domican republic, Taino culture, ca 1000-1300 AD.

A finely weathered and patinated sculpture with provenance to a reknown old German Collection.

The sculpture was made in a white-cream stone, perhaps fossilized coral(?) and depicts a seated couple, naked and holding hands, knees thouching and they are kissing tungue against tungue.
