Here is a set composed of cuff links made from 2 large oval (3/4” x 1/2”) peacock glass cabs set in textured circles of gold-toned metal measuring just under 1” across, and a tie tack made from a smaller cab (3/8” x 1/4”), also set in gold-toned metal. Just in time for Halloween, here is a very detailed bat, wings spread wide, ready to flitter through the night sky. In China, bats are a symbol of good luck. This beautiful 14k (tested) rose gold brooch has a floral and crescent moon motif (the crescent moon is the symbol for intuition and new beginnings), accented by 10 rose cut diamonds in closed-back settings. This signed and hallmarked watch pin is really sweet! It is centered by a tiny pink enameled flower with a pearl center, and is surrounded by stylized green enameled leaves and a framework of gold. Here is a striking ring with a trilliant or triangular cut synthetic alexandrite and 2 full-cut diamond accent stones. The stone is steely blue in daylight, and a pretty purple in incandescent light, with teal blue flashes; it measures 1/4” per side. Size 7-3/4, and it could be re-sized. Here is a splendid locket depicting some sort of creature: zephyr? Lion? Or some other mythological critter? He has a diamond in his mouth, and his eyes are red stones (too small to ID). Measuring 1-1/8”, weighing 9.5g, and marked 10k, he is set up for 2 photographs with both celluloid and photo rings. Here is a Victorian gold-in-quartz (also called “gold quartz” and “gold-bearing quartz”) brooch. Gold-in-quartz is rare and becoming more so. Here is a pair of lovely earrings with nice long dangles – the entire earring measures 1-3/4 long, and the dangle is 1-5/16”. They measure just under 1/2” at the widest point. The dangles have a charming bird and flower motif. They are black enamel and gold plate or gold filled. Damascene jewelry has been made since the Victorian era in Portugal and Spain, and earrings with lever-back findings like these came into production c. 1900. This necklace is such a pleasure to wear! It drapes very nicely around the neck, measuring 15-1/2” long, with a maximum of ½” in width. It is marked "DANECRAFT STERLING RFG US PAT OFF" and weighs 36.8g. In excellent condition, and we believe it was made between 1940 and 1950. The flowers are lotuses (which are a type of water lily).
