A modernist sterling silver brooch with a baroque pearl by Sigi Pineda. Design number 81. Measures 3" long and 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches. A sterling silver modernist link bracelet by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. Has two layers of sterling with darkened areas for an interesting effect. Measures 6 3/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. Has both the phyllis and stylized 'p' hallmarks and sterling. Hook closure. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Better for a smaller wrist although an extender could be added. Classic Phyllis design.

An amazing sterling silver modernist brooch adorned with four purple cabochons by the renown Israeli jeweler, Rachel Gera. Measures 5" long and 2" across. Can be worn as a pendant with a converter. (We will provide if requested.) The larger cabochon is an amethyst and the smaller dark red ones may be garnets. Signed on the back Gera, Israel and 925. Rollover clasp holds securely. Heavy and substantial. Wonderful piece of modernist jewelry.

A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver cufflinks by American studio jeweler, Ted Lowy. Square sterling with a smaller square corner inlay of bone. Measure 5/8" square. Marked Ted Lowy in script and Sterling. Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Toggles function appropriately. Toggles are marked Sterling and with a patent number. Great mid century design.

An unusual pendant by the noted modernist jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of sterling with an amber insert, can be worn on either side for 2 different looks. One side has an off center triangular cut out and the other side uses beveled prongs to hold the amber in place. You can see lots of marbling when it is held up to the light. The central design measures 1 1/2" across and 2 1/2" long. Hook closure. In very nice condition with minor tarnish. Marked with the Anvil, Finland and 925S, the mark for Turku and Q7 for 1969. Great example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.

Has a freshwater pearl off center. Has an fhb mark and Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds securely. Fine condition, just a few minor scratches. Classic mid century design.

A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" high. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A modernist pair of dangle earrings by Winifred Mason Chenet. According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. She believed that each piece should be unique and distinctive. Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel. Spring is tight. Great organic design.
